Stars vs Stars could happen in single player clan mission as well as 10 v 12 and would not impact Multiplyer experiences.

I would like to see the tutorial done away with completely in it's current state. I would like to see a 10-15 mission SP campaign in it's place. You would get to pick from 4 mechs at the start of each mission, one of each weight class, types offered dependent on the mission. It would start off easy and let you get a feel for your mech, and get a little tougher by the end. I think there should be a reward for completing this, like you get to pick from one of four chosen(by PGI) mechs to keep, earn a little XP, and make maybe 5 mil C-Bills to outfit the mech you choose in the end. That way, people would get a feel for combat in the mecs, learn how to pilot in combat, then graduate to PvP.

The back story could be, you are a pilot in a planetary garrison that gets attacked by the clans. Your dropship is the only survivor. You get a mech, some money, and some know how. Enough that you could sign up with any unit in the IS.

Alternatively, they could offer a campaign as a clanner, for those who will. It could be set up as training missions with a combat trial at the end. In the end, your choosable mechs could be determined by the outcome of your trial. The more kills in the trial, the higher the weight classes of choosable mechs.
Example: 1 kill = light, 2 kills = medium, 3 kills = heavy, 4 kills = assault.

IMO, this would be the ideal training/tutorial to get new players into the game, get them ready for PvP, and earn them a mech to use. We could then get rid of the new player ELO, and the new player bonus. Maybe, you could do both tutorials and earn one of each clan and IS mechs.

Here is my top 3 list:

1. In Game Voice - This shouldn't wait for 2015. They should put CW and clan mechs on hold until PUG games have access to effective communications. I've used teamspeak and it's good, but it's no replacement for just having the tech baked in.

2. Missions - CW is going to be great, but mission scenarios would add a lot of variety to the game for those in between major battle times. It would also provide a medium for introducing a lot of story elements into the game.

3. Melee Combat - My medium sized Hunchback wants to trip one of those pesky Ravens and then drive a lance through it's stinking gutless innards.

I thought i read somewhere that quad mechs are out because of cryengine.

I could easily be wrong though.

There's another Cryengine game out with six-legged tanks.

I don't see any reason that a six legged vehicle can work but a four legged mech can't.

I would love to see a game that F*#KING works as it should! With all the lore and content all the huge range of missions and game play that this game SHOULD have!

Shame on you PGI!

Hit reg & desync fixes first, those are absolutely mandatory for a good game experience.

Beside all the items mentioned here, I would like to finally see working & comfortable chat system with working offline messages (they always vanish for me) and very important, an IN-GAME lobby that allows to find lances, groups, players that would like to 1vs1 and so on. In 2015, an online game should have that, right? ^_^

-VOIP

-Proper collision damage

-Proper knock-down system

-Destructible map objects (not necessarily buildings, I'm talking trees, signs, those statues in River city, ect.)

-Better damage effects on builds (even just some sort of decal system would be cool)

-Better, less bouncy, animations for mechs with maxed engines (stalkers going 64 kph look silly)

-Working cockpit monitors

So in short, mostly polish and immersion. :)

EDIT: Oh yeah melee combat would be pretty cool too.

- I love the idea of having arena (Solaris) type match-up's (one vs one) with the ability to bet on the outcome.
- Mission based PVE content, Co-Op for up to 4 man teams.
