I understand this will likely be more work for an already overworked team, but if you are serious about player feedback in the future, this could be a useful tool for measuring majority opinion, and strengthening the impression that you value player opinion.

This reminds me of star conflict, a pretty decent space game by Gaijin. The let the polls be in game and you get currency for them. More feedback is never bad.

Indeed - that's what I based this one off. While the money they provide is a pittance, it's a good incentive to vote, and it really does show that the devs want your opinion (they're going to pay for it!)

10 MC is really nothing. I remember being able to afford a decal after voting in 9 of the polls.

I'm mainly posting the idea because I think this feedback would be somewhat above the politics of the forums. Those that post regularly tend to have their own cliques, and while there are some very noble personalities here, there are those who don't like other to the point that they wouldn't vote for a suggestion purely based on the people posting it (IMHO, of course).

I'd hate for a good suggestion to be ruined by forum politics.

I think the guys and girls making this game have made few mistakes except maybe the clan mechs being OP.

Also the vlogs and other updates to whats going on are great and other than I would like to see everything done sooner, Mechwarrior has been done well I think.

It seems that player input had been taken into consideration involving the games progress.

Here is some feedback though. The mode selection option should be completely removed and made random. I think this has been used to assist in synch dropping and is something that requires attention. Also I am 100% sure this is being used to engineer bad matches in the group queue as well. This I learned in the group queu.

Again this is just an opinion but does need to be looked at.

I am sure most players would wish this is not the case, but sadly this mode option can and is being used for negative reasons.

If it was something that blanketed all drops then no problem like random would be, but that it is being used by a few players is where the problem comes in unfortunately.

Those that say synch dropping is ok, how can intentionally droping onto both teams to get radar on both teams and locations be considered ok? Worste case to do tk's and team damage even. It does happen.

I'm tempted to start ten new threads to discuss what a good idea this is. And like someone else already said, Gaijin is the best example of how to make it work.

Bump because I made my reply a little more relevant and a little less irrelevant. :)
