Well Serious, half the time I really don't agree with you one bit but you gave one part of the community a relatively more sane place to discuss things on reddit. Your moderation on outreach was rather superb, especially compared to other subreddits and forums i've frequented. I'd welcome you on a council with moderates and extremists on both sides. That way y'all can keep cool heads against each other.

At best I would vote for Koniving, but I don't particularly care about any sort of player council because it's all but guaranteed to be a mess.

Why would I want a council to speak for me? I can speak for myself just fine.

Fupdup, Chavette, HomelessBill, Sandpit

There was a time I was very active on constructive posts, but this time is now over. Its been so long since I have been active for real on the forums, that I forgot who were the real players. Its too late now though, I would love to see if this will ever come to fruition, but I doubt it.

As someone else pointed out, they ignored us when there was more than 90% of the community against 3rds person view. Light is gone...

I'd think that 2 of those people don't really comport themselves in a manner deserving to be community representatives to PGI. One plays on his wifes account so he can artificially inflate his elo, and almost never PUGs solo. The other goes on different teamspeaks to flame people and has history of verbally abusing people on /r/outreachhpg. The amount of vitriol or outright downtalking that comes from both of them is really unacceptable.

I'd like to nominate Bladesplint as a solo PUGer representative. He is a rather experienced player and very well qualified for this position. It is important that solo que players not be disenfranchised in this process as they represent almost 50% of MWO's player base.

Excuse me? How do you suppose I inflate what already is max'd?

If you want my opinion, ask. My resume speaks for itself. If you want someone who has won solo-tournaments, competitive tournaments, and plays for/manages the top NA/EU team(s)... ask for myself or Proton.

I nominate: kaffeangst/Proton/Villz/Heimdelight/Adiuvo/JagerXII

It's 15 pages so you missed it I think. Council is a bad term; someone said a better term is 'task force'.

We discuss the changes we want as a community. We have a task force that collates that down into something readable. Then we discuss/vote on the ideas that distills down to.

That's the simple version - just elected people to take all the piles of mostly random **** we spew and refine it down into something useable that we can then vote on. Also have them debate it in a closed setting, so we can see a sentient discussion of the topic without weeding through 20 pages of wasted electrons.

You'll speak for yourself. We all will. Having some trusted, intelligent folks help refine that down is a good thing.

He doesn't have a choice. He will be forcibly impressed into the Player's Council, willing or not.

Hopefully not. I want to see him struggle!

Anyone wanna help me build like a google doc for all these nominations? :D I can't work a spreadsheet for my life.

I mean I've got one pretty fleshed out with names but organization and information needs to be filled out.

My personal choices would be

Roland - speaks for much of the old school competative crowd and always backs up ideas with evidence and solid critical reasoning.

Homeless bill - comprehensive ideas, willingness to be flexible, always solid critical thoughts

Koniving - don't always agree with him but he puts solid work into the game and has a passion

Jäger xxiiiwhatever - this guy is in a top level team and he is pretty spot on about most things and well known in the community.

There are many other great people but those seem to give the best value in my mind ... And none of them are banned I think?

I think that has the bases covered adequately.
