I understand the AMS toggle, but is there actually a new toggle for ECM or is that a mistake? If the ECM toggle mentioned is not a mistake, then what is the point of it, does it just turn ECM off completely? If that's what it does, then I don't see the point of it at all because if (for any number of reasons) you don't want to have your ECM in disrupt mode then you can simply switch to counter mode, right? I'm trying to think of 1 single situation where you would want to completely shut off your own ECM, because I'm drawing a blank.

If you are sneaking up on people (such as through a tunnel) you switch to counter mode so people do not see <low signal> and know you are there.

However if you do this and sneak up on someone with ECM they may get a <countered> warning?

This is the only thing I can think of.

The low signal thing has tipped me off to many an ECM mech, who I've gotten the drop on instead of the other way around for it.

Yeah, I've been tipped off about ECM mechs being around in the same way so I can understand wanting to avoid that.

Hm, I guess I can see that, although it seems like you'd still rather have ECM in counter mode most of the time.

While we're on the topic of toggles I wish they added a toggle for TAG.

Id personally like it if the only time you see "LOW SIGNAL" is if you have BAP installed
