3 Missile if I remember right
I wasn't around for that, but I remember several people talking about it.

1 ballistic in the right arm with 10 crit slots free
2 missile points in the left torso
Maybe it was 3M, but I know for sure it was at least 2.

Let Yen Lo Wang have the long living energy hard points in the CT.

2 Ballistic hardpoints Right Arm (and the ability to mount an AC20)
1 AMS Right Torso (might get another like the Vindi AA)
0 Energy in the CT
275 rated engine max (same as the other 200 engine stock Cents)
~ maybe these were flipped 3B 2M ... I dunno but some combo of the two

Will the AH have its old layout of 2B + 3M hardpoints? The C-Bill variants have 6 hardpoints each, so the AH should at least match that (i.e. add another missile?). Since it lacks energy entirely, a bonus hardpoint or two might even be justified (because having backup energy is really really important on mechs).

Are they really reintroducing the variant they ninja removed so they could sell it back to people as the first Hero mech?
would you prefer it gone forever?
Because I am happy to be getting mine back.
Also, regardless, the YLW and AH are very different animals.

It's a reward for anyone who has purchased MC in the past year, so a lot of us are getting it on the free.

Well at least they aren't selling it back to us a second time I suppose. I never ran cents back then, and had no particular interest in the AH, I just remember feeling like that was a rather questionable move at the time for the people that had owned it, beta or not.

it indeed was.
But like many things, that was then, this is now. And I doubt we'll ever know if that particular marketing stunt was an IGP or PGI brainchild. Being that marketing is the Publisher's bailiwick, I want to simply leave it there, but it really doesn't matter to me at this point, as PGI has made plenty of mistakes, both legit and well..not so much. Can't change them, so can and will simply focus on now and the future.
So far, IGP Free has been kind of pleasant. Hopefully it stays that way.
