1. Are any FWL units going to be participating in the Marik Civil War event?

2. I could swear I remember reading somewhere about a FWL unit that was working mainly on developing tactics using FWL appropriate mechs (i.e. CDA-3M's for ECM or whatever). I've always wanted to hear more about that but for the life of me I can't find that post. Maybe I just dreamt that up? I wondered which unit(s) were working on that and what they decided to do after PGI announced that faction mechs weren't going to be in CW anymore. Always thought it was a really cool idea and I happen to own all faction appropriate gear.

The 1st Sierra Rangers are the unit doing FWL lore-appropriate gaming. However that restriction means they're really not competitive in an environment like the MCW you linked.

Thanks for the heads up on 1st Sierra Rangers, still don't know where I saw that about them but I knew I had seen it about someone.

To be honest I didn't know MGA had sub-units(?) do they wear MGA tags or something else?

As for the MCW it just sounds like fun so I wondered if any FWL units were signed up to participate or I guess had participated in previous seasons.

I'm almost certain FWLM members had participated, in fact IIRC it was the original MWO Marik Civil War hosted and participated in my many FWLM units that inspired the current iteration.

The 1st Sierra Rangers just use the MGA tags in game and in the TS. We append a 1st sierra tag to our name in TS if we feel we need to differentiate ourselves.
