So?

Absolutely nothing El Bandito.

I will just go whine about what an OP piece of equipment LRM is, because my slow ass 100 ton mech is incapable of successfully escaping being hit, after it was merely spotted, by a mech that does not even carry LRM.

LRM also turns people away from mech variety.

People have to resort to fast mechs, etc etc.

Is it the style of "debate" you have?

Learn to have better map awareness then. A1 is my favorite pug smasher mech precisely because there are always those who die to it easily and contribute to my C-Bill farming, but LRMs are pretty useless against a good team.
In serious drops, I use my Dragon Slayer, and I have no LRMs on it.

Well I run the Phoenix variant the most due to it's bonus to XP and C-Bills, But my favorite is the GRF-1S 4 Energy hard points in the right arm and 2 missile hard points in the Left Torso. While I have not yet snatched up "Sparky" it is very, very tempting!

You are a rare man, from what I've seen.

Totally buy Sparky man. it's the best Griffin of them all. This build actually rivals the Scarecrow.

AH! That's Awesome! Looks like I will be picking up Sparky too! I had initially ignored it due to having the Phoenix variant already.....But that build looks like a lot of fun, Thanks!

Oh, good good.

You prolly think you sealed the deal with that screen shot huh?

Total killer.

I will go make an LRM boat, score well in one of the game, and will send you something to see along. It will be the "proof" right?

And you learn to use tools provided for LRM: TAG, NARC, and your best friend: team mates...

And really, no one cares about how comfortable you are, or how much more comfort you must have to "C-bill farm".

Go ahead and play LRM boats, I actually encourage you. Perhaps then you will see that such mechs are mostly good for killing lowbies and are pretty much feast or famine unreliable build. ;)

I also really enjoy seeing how your crowd whines about how hard it is for "new players" to counter or understand mechanics behind ECM.

And now you tell me what a blast it is to easily grind noobs for C-bills in solo-queue, on your lurm boat.

Oh oh.

The Timber Wolf is my favorite mech by far right now. Which is awkward since I am in a unit that was created to use only Marik mechs in our loadouts. My favorite variant right now has 2 CERLL and 4 SSRM-6s with an active probe. I also like my Prime variant which is just slightly tweaked from stock. The other variant is a variant to my favorite build. 2 CERLL's 4 CSRM-6 and JJ's. Supposedly people think I have to run that instead of my favorite build in order to be viable in competitive play but I do WAY better in my Streak Wolf.

As for Inner Sphere side. That is a toughie. I like my Orion and my Stalker equally well. I probably do better in my Stalkers. Good hitboxes and alot of firepower. You can go missile boat, brawler, or (I've seen other people) snipe with them. I do well in Orions as well but you have to want to dedicate some time to get used to playing it. My two favorite builds are my protector which has 2 LPL's and 2 AC-5s. The other (I forget which variant it is) is 4 ML's in the arms. an LBX-10 and 2 A-SRM-6s The protector has an XL engine and is quite nimble. The other Orion has a standard engine and still feel sfairly quick by my standards and can soak up alot of damage.

Other honorable mentions would be the Atlas, Thunderbolt, Hunchback, Jenner, and Firestarter. The only other honorable mention for the Clan mechs would be the Stormcrow.

Don't sound odd at all. The little thing is adorable, if a little squishy.

I use trebbies to relax, that's why I love them.

It's the perfect support mech; an eye to the map and it's easy to choose where to go.

Never ever go one on one, but help your team and your team will help you (relax)
I give them simple load out 30-40lrm and various ml + target decay/sensor range.

Loup de G. can be a good "hit and run" mech with 4srm6 and 2 ml, and 100+kph (just wait for your target of opportunity).
Or, again support mech.

Not for heroes, but for players who like support mechs TT style.

Dual PPC and ECM Cicada. Its my puma from MW2... Shame Clan PPCs are a little too hot to run an actually puma build on a puma efficiently.

Vindicator
Tough and flexible for a little 45t medium.
Comes all 3 flavour(energy, missile, ballistic), there should be something that suit your taste with this mech.

Awesome 8Q
Fat and wide but can pack enough mech melting energy yet still run cool.
Surprisingly agile torso twist can duel a heavy or a medium.

For me, it was the YLW with 2 AC2 and 2 MedLazors. It had 4 Moduleslots and the AC2 outranged everything, It did an intresting Job at Scoutsupport, Longrangeharassment and Firesupport.

After the Nerfs, its the Cent 9D with Gauss and 2 Medlasers, Not as much fun as the AC2s, but at least you have the Range, The missing Module makes Scoutsupoort not as easy, but its managable.
