Thats very awesome of you guys.
But rlly Mad Dog only when we buy the masakari pack :(
The Mad Dog is in my eyes one of the most important mechs from Mechwarrior so this is just ... stealing Money in my eyes but thx anyway.

Well just do what everyone who couldn't afford the clan packs did, wait till their released for cbills.

Appreciated. I never stopped loving or playing MWO. Makes me feel like loyalty to MWO is valued. Thanks.

I might even buy another clan pack now....though I still think if you buy a pack you do not like after playing it, you should be able to trade/swap it. Say within 15 days of receiving it. IE - if you buy a Nova a-la-carte, and do not like it, you should be able to swap it for a Kitfox or whatever. Seems only fair, since we cannot test drive these pre-orders....

I really wonder, why don't they give the vulture hero to those who bought legendary founders and phoenix overlords, and then proceed to buy clan packages/ ala carte. why limit it to only masakari packages? if the clanners at their top purchase tier can get the king crab hero, why not the IS packages too? yes i'm one of them and I don't mean to sound like a bitter arse. they already have my ultimate respect for giving us such awesome care packages.

I've always thought there should be a tag awarded at certain levels of drops reached. ... ie 5000, 10000, 20000, 50000, 100,000 Something like that. give folks a bone to look forward to for grinding.

Anyhow, thank you PGI for the nice appreciation of supporters.

What would the tag be for 100,000? How about, "Hey, get a life!" :P

It was my mistake. Or better to say the bankers mistake. My credit card was expiring this month so I went to the bank to get the new one and the banker told me my old credit card would be valid till the end of month. I guess it's not.
I bough MC with my new credit card. All good :)

The only weird this is that MWO showed no error when i tried to buy MC with my old credit card. I had to go to the ATM to get the message that my old credit card expired.

Its great to see this. Kinda sad it seem those mech will not be avaible for everybody but eh why not.

I assume phoenix overlord are eligible for the king crab or am I wrong ? Not going to buy a masakari pack if not (I dont really like assault), just curious.

EDIT : I assumed right reading previous post in this thread.

I know you guys have heard a lot of this, but let me just start by saying:

Awesome. Thank you. This is a great gift, and it makes all of us who have spent money on this game feel like you actually do care about us a little.

That out of the way, Holy crap. King Crab. Yes, Please, thanks.

Over the last several months, I've been, in turns, skeptical, disappointed, happy, thrilled, skeptical, and so forth. You've made a lot of bold decisions, and have improved some key areas of the game (Matchmaking is better, server upgrades are good things.) I've questioned some of the choices that we've been through, and been upset at others (I would really like Inner Sphere PPCs to be semi functional again someday. Even if they never regain the badassery they once had.) but lately, especially since we've seen the separation from IGP, you all have really been generating interest for me in the game.

Thanks, and I appreciate all the hard work you guys have put into the game.

Daemond

Have fun, and die shooting

So, I accidentally loaded up the MWO website today and upon reading the Anniversary announcement and seeing the increased developer activity, I've decided that I will be re-installing MWO this evening after not touching the game for many, many months.

I really appreciate the effort you guys are making to make amends for some of the mistakes you've made over the past couple of years, and whilst I feel that you still have a lot to do in restoring the faith of a lot of the founders, this is an excellent step in the right direction.

I’ll be looking forward to seeing renewed discussions on game mechanics (looking at you, Ghost Heat), as it seems that since breaking from IGP there seems to be a renewed fervor for developer-player interaction.

Whilst I am still disappointed that it has taken this long for amends to be made, I will now be looking into purchasing one of the upcoming pre-order packs, however please bear in mind that although I purchased the Gold Founder, and Overlord packs I did not purchase any of the following packages due to my disappointment in PGI’s direction and communication at the time.

Show me that you can continue with this new direction and my wallet is yours once again.

Its better than a kick in the head with a hard toed boot. They must be making money for us to get anything. \
For one moment let us be happy about something they have done.

and that's why this game will never change. you guys are chumps and PGI knows it. They just admitted they aren't even sure if they can do dropship mode, which is something they claimed they had almost ready back in closed beta. They still don't have CW, and their "plan" for it reads like they threw it together in a day. They've been using MWO resources on Transverse for months, or maybe years.

but they dangle a couple of "free" mechs in front of you and you start forking over cash again

It's the thought that counts.

Listen, most reasonable people understand there are no real guarantees in life, right? So PGI saying they will do something and hedging that with "if we can" is perfectly understandable and, given the depths of human ingenuity, I think they will come up with something close to it.

We will hem and haw and whine and complain about this or that detail of Community Warfare, but them actually finishing it is paramount to their future success, and they fully understand this now (finally...)

We each have our little pet issues or whatever. Not all of us will have those addressed. But if PGI starts to and succeeds at addressing the bulk of the concerns *in some reasonable manner* then all of us need to be willing to give them praise for the attempt.

If it is more shuffling of the deck chairs on the titanic (ghost heat, sweeping and untested changes to things, pushing changes through despite player outcry) then we can go back to being angry customers.

It is not "Free Stuff" that has brought me back to the mech-table. It is a sense that PGI has seen the errors in their ways, so to speak, and has committed to change, and committed to trying to bring the Founders that have left back into the fold by addressing the primary complaints.

Let's give them a chance to turn this around, and big boats don't turn fast.

Why do you assume we ever quit forking over cash?

As a founder who has refrained from further supporting MWO with hard currency for various reasons I have to say that this expression of good will has really changed the way I perceive PGI's loyalty to its customers. Was happy with what I heard on the town hall, happy to hear founders are being recognized, surprised at the generosity of PGI with all these goodies and now will happily part with some cash in the form of premium time or an invasion 2 pack. Thanks Guys.
