Neither the Ebon Jaguar nor the Shadow Cat are 3058 mechs.
Shadow Cat production year : 3003
Ebon Jaguar production year : 3049
Oh please Shadow Cat is 3058 look it up on the Technical Readout 3058, son I have been playing Battletech for over 25 years from day one when it came out in Germany, hell I even had a Fantasy shop with a 3D 4 by 5 meter gamming table just for Battletech, so belive me when I tell you that bloody mech first apeared in the Battletech world with the Technical Readout 3058 which I have open on my before me.

They are basically really big frag grenades strapped to the mech's legs for killing infantry.
Wrong they weigh .5 ton each and one slot each as well, as a matter of fact in the table top rules you could hit them once you went internal and they exploded which was why alot of the BT freaks allowed them to be taken off if there was no Infantry in their campange.
Guys just buy a Technical Readout because that is what the Devs use to plan their mechs and such when following canon, so no Mechs that did not make it into the 3050 orginal TRO nor in the updated version 3052 will be around, the next TRO for Mechs is 3055 and then comes 3058. Untill Russ states that PGI are leaving the canon road this is the Mech time line that we are going to get end of story.

No, both of them had production on prototypes start early. Shadow Cat had prototypes in 3003, and the Ebon Jaguar in 3049. The problem is that both of them were never seen by the IS until 3052, during the battle of Luthien. Not even the clans knew about the Ebon Jaguar's existence. It's why even they call it Cauldron Born.

Only the Mist Lynx has fixed Jump jets, the other two did not have them at all in the 3050 TRO, later on the S variants were added to give Mechs like e.g. the Madcat S jump capability, so for all the Omni that do not have them fixed only certain variants will allow you to fit Jumpjets if they continue to follow canon.

Give me a kodiak and you can have my soul...
Your soul has 8 years left to go then because you are no getting your Kodiac before I get my beloved Grizzly, the only problem is that both are out of the 3058 TRO (yes they were on the battlefield LONG before that but if you read a bit you will know why they were first seen by the IS in the 3058s) and both are Second Line mechs which is why they appeared so late in the IS as Garrison mechs.

I believe it has been stated that PGI will not be doing IIC, MASC, or second line mechs just yet.

This is for sure the wrong thred for this but you seem to have a special eye on it! :-)
Noone can expect that you expose all your bills and revenues, but for us who always pay in advance for content we can't see or use I have some questions:
Withing the clan-packs you've collected over 70 millions for sure - how much of this money is gone for IGP and M$-License?
Was the rest of this money used to bring more "deepness" into the game? We know about the Factory map, CWarfare-1 and CWarfare-2 you are working at. But there must be much more in development for that bag of money! For me it seems like the money was heavy used to just implement the next cash-cow (Clan Wave 2)
I don't want to start any fingerpointing or accusations with my qustions - I just want to know what my/our backer money is used for.
There war still no clarification about this. I also have no problems with part of the money being invested in Transverse - thats the business and you have Your right to do s, as long MWO can keep enought to get more interesting in a quick period! I don't wont see MWO changing into a a money sucker. The last Map was introduced over 8 Months ago (if I count correctly). The Clans came out less then 3 month ago... just think ybout it!
Btw. CW = Community Warfare = Clan Wave ... the must be another title for the Waves for not getting confused! :-)

Well it's a plausible solution, but originally the Loki is a glasscannon, remove the 4 A-Pods means give a Loki 2 extra tons of armor. I suggest an arrangement of convenience 1 ton fot extra payload and 1 for armor.
King Krab... Clanners! Prepare fot the attack of the Kangrejus!

94% ff armor and endo
vulture 60t, 84kph, 28t and 38crits spacec
81%ff armor and std internal
hellbringer/loki 65t, 84kph, 28.5t and 43 crits space
but only 60% std armor and std internal
manowar is 80t, 84kph, 21.5t and 36crits space
85% ff armor and std structure
16 fixed dhs
Both of the smaller mechs will be stuck with some ERML and Missile combos because of the low space, but their speed will give them a reason over the Kit fox and Adder.
Both heavies (Loki and Vulture) will be able to use dual Gauss (24tons) and 4tons for ammo if you keep the low armor values.
The Loki is similar to the Warhammer and that alone makes it one of the best for an old fan like me
Although it has the 2MG in one side and 3ML in the other side, you can still create a WHM-6R kinda mech (2PPC, 2ML, 2MG, SRM6).
The MOW will be stuck with one big gun and a few lasers, or a big munch of smaller weapons.
But with the A variant having 2ERPPC and 4laser, or the C variant with UAC20 and 6ERML in the arms, there are way hardpoints than the summoner for more smaller weapons.
The ability to have Balisitics, Energy and Missile could lead to something with Laser/SRM as a very fast assault similar to Victors/BM.
Possible 8 ERML in the arms plus something in the torso with lots of heatsinks.
