Thank you for at least describing the issue, I have been on these forums since the beginning, but I rarely post because of the knowledge base required, it makes myself(and I am sure many others whom played MW but with no BattleTech Experience) shy away from even attempting to contribute.

BT lore is intimidating to get into. However, there are many players here who would be happy to help you get over the hurdles with these weird acronyms, and other specs like that.

I personally would be happy to help you any BT stuff you want to know about.

Also here are 2 more things you should probably know about, as they will be brought up at some point.

IIC (2C). Are IS mechs that were taken with the clans when they left the Inner Sphere, and were upgraded. The Hunchback IIC is probably the scariest medium you will run into in a dark alley.

You need both if you want the Invasion variant that gets a special paint job and 30% money boost. The normal C-bill variants will be available for everyone in the future.

Not alot... should have paid real money cash initially if you wanted the benefits. That was the point of the Real Money packs. To net the company money to continue development and be profitable. All you'll get is the warhorns, and cockpit bits and pieces and the premium game time

If you REALLY want the Mad Dog, then just consider the C-bills you paid for the nova and Uller a right off and apply for a refund through a support ticket on the the A-La-Carte mechs when you buy the $240 masakari pack. They will give you back the difference paid for the more expensive A-La-Carte ones. I did it awhile back.
