Faction content is pretty cool.

Mildly tempted to get the bottom package for the mech, 54 days of PT, 9 colors, and some other cool things, but I think I'd be better off with MC in general. We'll see, but I don't think I want the Mist Lynx.

Probably not, being a separate package and all. Otherwise it's well worth throwing $30 if you have a bunch of the Wave 1 mechs to get the extra free camo.

And I could argue for the camo to apply to my phoenix mechs

Yup. It says so, in fine print, under the cammo delivery for the first earlybird reward. No where else on the page strangely.
