I bought 4 Ale carte mechs for around 200 bucks. I was told in forums that I can upgrade to the Masakari pack. Yet, no one has told me how. Does anyone know how you do this?

I bought 2 pre order one month at a time because it was the only way I could afford them and 2 after their release.

No. Nobody has told me where or how. They just say you can do it

Wait for the wave 2 clan pack page to come up. It's been delayed a couple days to implement the upgrade paths for a la carte.

In other words, wait a bit and you'll be able to do it.

Negative a mod will clean up at some point, suppose you could PM and ask for them to do it.

I'll be a nice guy and give you the simple answer that DV McKenna COULD have given you straight away. - Make sure you're logged into your User Profile. Then proceed to the Mechwarrior HOME page. Then click on "Details" Button where the CLan Collection banner is - smack dab in the middle of said page. It will tell you what you "Own" and what can be upgraded. Failing that - contact customer support.

Except that is the WRONG answer.

The upgrade paths will be released when the clan pack 2 page goes live (all being well), in your answer all he will be doing is re buying packs or purchasing extra ala carte mechs.

So the correct answer would be - if you only purchased Ala Carte - the page will be adjusted so that you can upgrade that way. If you ALREADY bought a collection pack - then you CAN CURRENTLY upgrade using the current page.

See? Team work! Its all about being on the same page.

Except we already know the OP brought ala carte mechs, why would we tell him something not relevant to him confusing him yet more so?
