With this release schedule for MC/CB sales for the Clan reinforcement chassis:
  • Vulture - December 16th for MC and January 20th for C-bills
  • Myst Lynx - Jan 6th for MC and Feb 3rd for C-bills
  • Ice Ferret - Jan 20th for MC and Feb 17th for C-bills
  • Hellbringer - Feb 3rd for MC and March 3rd for C-bills
  • Gargoyle - Feb 17th for MC and March 17th for C-bills
I wonder what new mechs we can expect between now and January. I suppose it is entirely possible the answer is "nothing", but I don't think anyone wants a drought of IS mechs between now and January, let alone January through March. (We do have the King Crab to look forward to, at least! :D )

We used to have a good idea of what mechs were coming out as concept art was posted regularly and roughly-quarterly forecasts told us what mechs, maps, camos, etc were slated for release. I don't think anyone likes being kept in the dark regarding what mech chassis are planned.

Or, put simply: can we expect a new IS mech for October & November?

That is easy. We still have the Dire Wolf, Stormcrow, Timber Wolf and Warhawk coming out for C-bills between now and December. I think they are also planning for one IS mech to come out as well but I am not 100% sure on this.

That's a very good point, although it does further highlight a distinct drought of IS mechs unless something (or a couple of somethings) are unveiled for October and November.

With CW coming and it's strict IS vs Clans combat, I feel like both factions need flashy exciting content coming, not just the Clans (and the singular but awe-inspiring King Crab)

Centurion AH might be available for C-bills some day, but nothing was said just yet.
Atlas 7S is exclusive. You either get it or you don't, and it sounds like it won't be for C-bills?

Sept 23 = Clan Dire Wolf (c-bills)
Oct 7 = Adder (c-bills)
Oct 21 = Stormcrow (c-bills), Centurion AH (if you bought MC this year), Atlas 7S (if you ever pre-ordered any mech pack)
Nov 04 = Timber Wolf
Nov 18 = Warhawk
Jan 20 = King Crab (c-bills)

There probably will also be a MC/C-bill Inner Sphere mech each month as well. I know that the hero Wolverine is one the way.

I am not sure drought is the right term.

Recently we just had the Vindicator release and lets face it, there are 29 different IS mechs already in the game, some of which have 5-6 variants available if you count hero mech variants as well verses only 8 Clan mech chassis (not counting the 5 new ones). Then we already know we are getting the King Crab in the near future as well.

Also if you think about it, with CW coming up and with only 13 Clan mechs available vs 30 (that we know of) IS mechs, seems like they are definitely focused on the right content, which is pushing out as many Clan mechs as possible in order to equalize the number of Clan vs IS mechs available to select.

Now granted, this is coming from someone who is planning on being a Clanner during CW but as much as I like my Timber Wolf, Stormcrow and Kitfox, it is a tad bit boring to have such limited options. Personally I can't wait to see mechs like the Shadowcat and Cauldron-Born become available to pilot.

Forgot they are giving away the King Crab to those that purchased top tier package on Dec 23rd I think.

Well fleas are itchy little pests. At least crabs are tasty and dogs are loyal (and tasty depending on the culture).

Wasn't the gap between BJ and VND like a year?

That is a long wait for the Centurion and Atlas. I am somewhat in a bind as I have no mechs to grind currently.

The Summoner is crap and getting the Direwolf would just bankrupt and prevent me from getting the Stormcrow.

Barring a mystery mech reveal Tuesday I might have to break down and go ala carte Mad Dog. What is the estimated price?

Well, they already confirmed the Mauler a long time ago. I guess they have enough stuff to feed us with till summer next year.

Estimated price of the Mad Dag? $360. You can't buy one a la carte, only available as a bonus for buying both packs or waiting for MC/CB release.
