Hailz! I think i figured it out!!! Do a fresh install of xp and mech on an old hd, plug it in to the new tower, open bios and change boot order so that the old hd loads first, and mech should run no problem.......Right????

Wow, its really good to see a few more friendly names (faces) from the past. I have a ***** load of contacts from CAN in my MSN....only probalem is I havn't used MSN for ever and it has forgotten me. 
Really nice to see you Volt, Polar, Slash, Biggie, Fear and of course you to AL. Been a very long time since I was down to your house in Stinky John. 
.Where is Bubba?...I can't wait to hear you all again on Comms. I probably won't be able to get the grin off my face for days. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Are you running it on xp or win 7?
Make sure you have updated drivers for your video card first.
If you are on win 7 run in win xp (Sp4) compatibility mode
Either way run as administrator.
Also, under your shortcut properties, put --- "C:\Program Files (x86)\MekTek.net\Mechwarrior Mercenaries - Mektek Mekpak\MW4Mercs.exe" /gosNoJoystick /gosNoVideo" under the shortcut tab in the Target field.

volt ...i got mw4 merc's to run about a month ago ,but i couldnt get thoses maps from mektek to work ,just finished my 4 days of work now i got 4 off ........i
m goning to give mw4 a try see if it works ,ill keep ya posted

Let me know what's missing, I get people connected on MP3.1 online regularly.
Just had to re-install myself the whole thing. Wasn't that bad.

BC here. A little bit of a newbie, I've played both Vengeance and Mercenaries, I'd love to join a Canadian group!
I also have Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries successfully installed on two Windows 7 machines, so I can play whenever.

I do have a life, so I can't be at your beck and call, but if you set a date I'll do my best to be there.

hey i need some help finding a team comm system i think i could host it ,but they want money ,so i m looking for a program that ..is Free, easy to run a server soft ware like team speak 1 or 1 .5 i tryed to runn that team speak 3 i cant get it to work confilcit 0r something so any hepl would be apperciated ...............

I know a guy who runs a few TS3 servers, I will ask him for hosting/server advice.
