Lets be nice gentlemen. Even if the presentation didn't come across as intended by the OP lets stay constructive and not belittle anyone.

Gamers are gamers, no matter their attire or sound of their voice. Treat everyone fairly, especially those that make mistakes.

Play nice everyone!

Does it have to be born female or can transgenders apply?

Lots of Rule 12, and 13 as well, to be honest.

Three female LANCE commanders for a Clan Wolf unit? It doesn't bother me how vague the request is. How dare he or she violate lore?!?! Clan Wolf does not operate in lances! Bring out the tar and feathers. This violation of Kerensky's traditions must not go unpunished!

Is this a scheme to form your own e-harem? I don't invade other people's threads, but this was just too creepy to pass.

I take it you are only reprimanding the male pilots who replied then? ;)

Thank God this isn't the Youtube comment section. The pirate dominions on the fringe of the inner sphere had more order, and nicety than THAT abysmal hole of oblivion.

I felt like commenting with something witty regarding the OP, but at this point there is really nothing I can add.
It just generally sounded creepy, and that is something you want to avoid.
And when a furry thinks you are acting creepy, you know things are bad.

Guess I don't need to be nice... ;P

It's not about being mean, it's about stopping whatever this is before it starts. Women have it hard enough in gaming without ... whatever this is.

Truth be told, there were similar reactions when I was looking for a woman to do the readings on the mech lore series that I was/am working on kinda on and off. There was a few reasons for wanting a female instructor-sounding authority.

1) A woman's voice commands attention. There's a reason that computers are generally female. There have been military studies on this, and the U.S. Air Force has proven that in situations of extreme stress (such as high G-forces, low oxygen, etc.) that a female voice had a much higher success rate of both getting information to the pilot as well as getting the pilot to perform tasks that would save his life in such situations (such as pulling up when barely even conscious) than male or simply sound-based messages (beeps, etc).
2) You don't hear so many female voices on youtube talking about video games. Even fewer that are role playing as a training instructor and giving you information about the Battlemechs that you would soon be piloting. And then, even fewer would have said training instructor chewing you out for things such as being tardy (I originally planned on doing a 3D animated training room with a 3D instructor).

Sadly, I went for half a year with only partial proposals that sadly did not take off. So I went with a male, British, and things have actually begun to take off. The first one should be done in time for Community Warfare's second to third phase.

(That said, for anyone here I can still use additional voices. There's a lot of mechs, and we've been thinking of doing a Battletech lore version and a Mechwarrior Online version as the two are entirely different things.)
