It says 3 female COMMANDERS...not explicit to females in general...don't take it out of context.

and before commanders it says FEMALE. There is nothing to take out of context.

"You know where to put your AC20.. "

Soo many Mechwarriors think they've got an AC20 on their mech... but female target info gathering modules only detect an AC5...

9 out of 10 females avoid this thread. The 10th is a guy named Ralph, living in his mother's basement and using a program to make his voice sound like a chicks for VoIP purposes.

Yeah, no I agree with Pariah. I understand what you are looking for, but I think most female MechWarrior will be turned off where you are explicitly looking for females. Makes it sound like you are forming a Clan to hook up with chicks, not to play a game.

Don't forget the "must use ts" part as well lol.

creeporama, even if it was not intended that way.

it's like there is a side panel van with bubble windows driving around with a dire wolf painted on the side......

Not the best advertisement in the middle of the sausage fest that is on-line gaming, to begin with. It's kind of like in a game when your rolling someone, there is one guy left to kill and you have 5 pilots yelling "iso delta, iso delta" it just is not gonna work.

That sounds slightly creepy...

well for starters his name is "woofiedog" and furries are by nature creepy.

secondly, if you've ever been in yiffaffneg headquarters you'd realize how creepy and awkward they all are.

Sounds like some one is a closet furry if you've been there.

I bought a dire wolf, thought logically "I should join clan wolf because this is what they use and I also have red paint." Then I filed an application, which was the start of my pet peeves considering I'm doing application paperwork and not getting paid for it if I'm accepted. Upon entering their teamspeak I was subjected to yiffaffneg, incompetent pilots, and being constantly called "direwolf" by a cranky old man instead of my game handle or my name which I told him after I asked him to stop calling me dire wolf. Of course the icing on the cake was being told I don't know how to play the game from a guy who not only thanked me for build advice but was mad I didn't follow his fast mech in my slow one on an out in the open suicide run, but honestly what was really going on was I was experimenting to see where the common denominator was in our past two losses. Turns out it was following his orders because through my independent efforts that game was won. Of course afterwords he said something about it "going in my file that I don't obey orders and this is a competitive and serious clan for serious people." At that point I decided that I wasn't getting paid enough for this **** and left.

they are creepy and awkward, and the furries only compound that for an unsettling feeling I can't quite name. Just something about claiming to be a wolf and [redacted].

Fair enough, i'll retract my statement.

It's an online train wreck.

I can't speak for this guy with MWO, but in RL I have had two female warriors attend to my "lance".

mmmmmmmmm yes

Does gender really mater? I mean, female, male. Long a they do a good job its all good, right?

If gender wouldn't matter, this thread wouldn't exist. And above all there would be no further discussion here.

I've read this post and I did not feel concerned. But that's all. Gender matters and that's why there are so much interpretations in a simple request.

To be honest, I wouldn't start a thread like this. Nevertheless you should ask yourself why you are reading this thread... and why you are reading a contact ad instead of a simple request for unit members. I don't know what it is... but I don't care.

Well clearly you do care, as if you didn't, you would not have waited 2 days to respond. This from the "male" logging in to MWO as a "female" character from the battletech universe.

Achievement unlocked : Hypo-critical slot

Anyways, lets just agree to say it's a simple request for voice work with no sexual connotation for female voices that has been taken out of context.

Was it hard to misunderstand me by any means?

I responded here because I had to work on a report. And I said, gender matters! But I don't care for this request. Clear enough?

Anyway, let's agree to say... just don't interpret what others do. And everything is fine.
