IFF, False Missile lock, and stuck AA could use some attention when y'all get the time.

Don't know what the first or third thing is but yes fix the damn lrms so the first volly that is fired actually goes toward the locked target and not in the dirt in front of you. It's a waste of ammo every match throughout the whole match while changing targets. It has been this way for at least a month.
IFF bug is when your friendly is missing his friendly marker identification in a match. Usually resulting in FF or TK by accident when people cannot tell you are friendly.
AA (anti aliasing) bug I believe is a graphics issue which causes motion blur.
BTW: Did you use to hang out on LTCRabbit chat occasionally.

I agree with the others... bad patch timing, but thanks for the patch. I just lost most of my play time for today. Oh well, time to go be an adult again...
PS: Changes in the company seem to be good. I am excited about a new MWO.

patch is badly needed but what is with the patch time , come on guys its either in middle of or near end of a LOT OF PEOPLES prime time. This mean's i can't get a game in till about 1:30 am ......[redacted].
Give them a break. The game will always affect someone, somewhere. Wait til maintenance unexpectedly takes 16hrs because of unforeseen issues.
I can only imagine how people would react to that. Congratulations on being the only negative person in this thread about a much needed fix.

Hotfix is both unexpected and welcomed. Hopefully it fixes up a number of Desync issues and doesn't break anything else in the process. (No offense meant to anyone, but there's been a trend with patches lately where a fix for one thing messes up another)
A statement from Russ on WHAT was causing the desyncs (if this fixes them) would also be cool.
Sweet. The constant Desynchs are what's killing my desire to play (outside of life things hah). Wish I could have helped find the fix but just didn't have time. If it is resolved and things look good just may be interested in a certain mech pack
BTW thanks PGI for the hotfix on this. Already done and patched. Hope it helps the desync problem which I have been lucky to not have a large issue with lately.

Greetings MechWarriors,
Please stand by for an incoming hot-fix for ongoing desync issues. We believe that this fix may correct many of the desync issues affecting players and we hope to hear your feedback on that once complete!
The Hot-Fix will begin at approximately 3PM PDT / 7PM EDT / 11PM UTC.
The Hot-Fix will take approximately 1-2 hours for the team to deploy and test.
Thank you for standing by!
Would you be able to post a write up about what the issue was? I've got an interest in these things, and knowing the cause will give me something to heap my seething fury upon.

The First thing is when an Ally unit looks like an enemy ECM unit because it has no signature or icons.
For example, an ally Locust looks like an enemy ECM mech.
You shoot it, because only enemies under ECM in MWO don't have 'IFF' tags.
BAM! Teamkiller!
BAM! Pay up!
BAM! Half your team starts trying to kill you over it.
Example: Listen to the "reaction" of a player who can't see the IFF on a target that everyone is ignoring (and he's baffled as to why before realizing it).
>.>
Problem is this is after half your team also tried to kill that same poor player.
The third I think refers to this thread. Please provide your input there.
A problem many of us suffer, but you'd almost never know it unless you took a screenshot.
Here it is in motion, you almost can't see it.

I'm liking how on the ball you guys have been recently. Keep up the good work.

Does the Repair Tool help you?
When you start the MWO-Launcher ignore the blue Play button click the "Cog Wheel Icon" in the Top Right Corner and chose "Repair Tool" from the Menu, run the Repair Tool, click "Fix It" at the end of its run regardless what it says.
Do this every update and hotfix.
Hopefully it helped you.

I can report a possible desync the first match back in. Mechs were teleporting/rubberbanding (including mine) but no moonwalking or extremely long lag, just enough teleporting to make aiming impossible.
As has been mentioned, that may be a connection issue, not a desync.

Thanks for the report.. we'll be keeping a close eye on this thread over the next few days. Now get out there and crack some coconuts!
