How about having new package containing those special versions of mechs from founders, phoenix and sabre packs? I would see this like A la carte sale so everybody can buy mechs they've missed in past and those who will get to $80 or more will get free King Crab.

New packages are always welcome, but not if this needs resources that are desperately needed elsewhere. While I understand the grief of many to receive the King Crab, I personally would be heavily disappointed if we don't get a freakin' map delivered pretty damn soon. That has priority over everything in my book. We are stuck with the maps we have for so long now, at some point you just have to release something to keep people playing (maps and CW). So, would you kindly do that first? Screw new clan mechs, screw new IS mechs, just finish something meaningful first before bringing even more new mechs.

As a Founder and Phoenix buyer, I bought into the Clans to see how they were. I don't regret the decision, but I also have no plans to buy the new Clan II pack because I am firmly IS.

I would heavily consider a new $80 IS pack and would have NO expectations of it releasing around the same time as Clan II. The King Crab would hold me over.

I smell new IS mech pack.

(I want to see Alex do his magic to the unseen- to make them close enough to the originals that we recognize them, but far enough to keep Harm Gold in their cave. As I understand it, the IP is yours, but the artwork is theirs...so give Alex a shot!)

I would buy an IS unseen pack in a heartbeat- first books I read were the Gray Death saga...almost ALL unseen.

I would total support doing a IS "Clan Buster" or even a SLDF "Flash Back" pack. For the Clan Busters we could see some of the mechs that ComStar used against the clans (like the Black Knight....yes please) :D or if you went SLDF we could see some of the classic mechs from that era. I would total pay $80 for a pack like that.

Hm Anthony Scroggins aka Shimmering Sword already made some "redesign" for Marodeur, Archer, Warhammer....
they look better as the reseens - of course it would not prevent those vultures from Harmony Gold to try to grab some money - the moment they recognize that PGI will release a Marodeur even if it is a humanoid design

Next pack should be a clan-buster pack, and the King Crab could be given as a bonus reward for buying the top tier.

Let's be honest, we're all expecting a Clan Buster to be the next pack out the doors.

I do not think they can touch the Name and backstory- only the Artwork if it is too similar.

If the unique version and c-bill bonus is what they want then they can wait till the Hero version comes out. My look at this is you choose for whatever reason to not spend the money earlier, don't expect the benefits of having spent the money now.

Now if you want to come up with an entirely new package and these guys have to wait for it and they get the king crab, fine.
Granted you will part more money from me also.

Only problem I see with dropping 2 package close to each other is the possibility of missing out on early purchase bonuses because you don't have the money. Only solution I see for that is to place the cutoff date of the bonus far out.

As a Founder, I fully support an IS incentive package.

I look at it this way... A IS incentive package demonstrates a sizable operational development cost for PGI, which in turn demonstrates a vested commitment to us the player base in the form of content and asset balance (Inference being mechs and classes to offset the Clan dominance at the moment).

I thank-you for your new-found involvement and efforts to further MW:O.

So I think if we were to offer a package for IS players to get in order to qualify for the King Crab I think it would need to be a new 80$ package with new IS chassis.

Didn't realize that you were French, Russ.
Great that you guys are considering this idea though, IS pilots must be jumping for joy.

I don't understand the unusual amount of rage on the boards for a FREE item that is given as a bonus to people who supported PGI to the max from the start.

PGI didn't have to do this customer appreciation program, but they did and somehow in the twilight zone known as the MWO forum community people are "demanding" that their bonus free stuff program be run differently?

Good god just imagine if PGI did event exclusive mechs or camos similar to warframe where if you didn't log in that week to do an event you'd miss out on something practically forever. The rage train would be unbearable.

Make an IS 'Rad Pack' Urbie, Crab, Mackie, King Crab.

A couple of awesome lore chassis that IS purists can use in both games and scenarios and the Mighty Crabs.

Considering the fact that the last two packages were Clan mechs, its hard to stay IS loyalist, if so many new toys are around.. and the statement thast we have to choose sides per round of CW means.. if i WANT to be IS loyalist, i have in the worst case 2 Clan packs gathering dust, or, worse from PGI`s side of things: an IS loyalist would NOT buy both clan packs.

A war-themed, say: "Clanbuster" IS mech pack would bring incentive to stay IS, and stil look forward to "new toys".

Russ: if you want to make people happy AND make money, do this. I'm a clan player, but I would buy a Reseen pack in a heartbeat. I know Alex could make them look awesome and different!

Project Phoenix II: Electric Bugaloo ( Wasp, Phoenix Hawk, Marauder, Marauder II).

Do want!

I did participate in the founders program but I would still buy a new IS package and if you make it this package I'll even pay the $240 top end price :D

I know, my Axman dream may never come to light, how about the other 3 PLUS an Axman statue for my cockpit?

Sounds like a lot of support for pre-ordering a new IS pack, and a broad choice of 'mechs available to populate it. Good.

Now,if some arrangement could be worked out with HG, I'd very much like to have the remaining Unseen. Not just for nostalgia, but for all the missing IS Heavies. Those 'mechs in many cases defined the role of their weight class. Not having them leaves a gap in our capability.
