My perfect pack would be Light - Hermes, Medium - Hermes II or Clint, Heavy - Grasshopper, and Assault - Cyclops. I'd be okay with Wolfhound instead of Hermes and maybe Flashman instead of Grasshopper. But, again, I can't stress this enough - Cyclops lol

I would say the pack would dictate the "course" of new IS mechs for several month so it should make sure to fill out existing "holes". As we now have at least one IS chassis of every weight increment (20, 25, ..., 95, 100) I would find it logical to avoid weights that are already overrepresented (for exsample 3 IS chassis with 35t, same for 50, 55 and 65). However there are several weights that currently only hold one chassis that sometimes is relativly specialized. A Starleague/Comstar/Lostech theme would be really nice as a "counterpack" to clans. Therefore I suggest:

- A 25 or 30 ton light that varries from commandos/spiders (JJs on 25t or a more dogfighter style 30t or an Urbie ;) )

- A 40 ton medium with JJs prolly humanoid.

- A 70 or 75 ton heavie with at least one ECM option (watch out for Loki primes...). I checked through the sarna chassis and there actualy aint that much options that are viable with the current weapons/tech. But the Dragoon has 3 legal variants, ECM and just looks AWESOME! (something not many "old" BT designs share)

- A 90 or 95 ton assault. There is actualy not many that would be allowed (Nightstar does not have enough legal variants without LBX20 and such ingame) so it would prolly be the cyclops which could look pretty nice considering the magic that the mech guys used on some really odd original designs to come up with great ingame models.

I'll see if I can get started modelling the "SLDF 2750" mechs

I agree... Hermes (30t), Hermes II (40t humanoid), Grasshopper (70t) and Cyclops (90t, but you said that)

How about no more new money grubbing packs for a year? Seriously, enough is enough. The endless appetite of some "whales" here to sink hundreds more into an online game which will become unplayable one day when the servers go down is astonishing. I don't want to see this game end up with expensive preorder packages for EVERY mech released from now on. If it keeps going that way, I'll lose further interest in it.

well my 50cent to this would be
on the light side the Wolfhound
for medium the Clint
But for heavy why not the Warhammer or the Marauder ?
The Zeus for the Assault is one House mech that simply needs to be implemented in mwo
