So, I am sure this topic has been posted some how some where. It's going to be long and wordy, so please bear with it.

[Main Idea]Let us have separate drop queues for Clan Mechs and Innersphere Mechs.
More specifically,
Queue drop for Innersphere versus Innersphere, and Innersphere versus Clan, and Clan versus Clan.

I know PGI plans on implementing this in the Faction game play, but hear me out please.

[Supporting idea 1]
Some people want Clan mechs applied in a way that is close to table top and canon. Personally, I applaud PGI for having the guts to stand the banter and slander against them for trying to Balance a BROKEN System.
Clansmen want to fight 10 Clansmen versus 12 Inner-sphere pilots with their original weapon stats.

(My Argument for separate queues 1)
If 10vs 12 is applied the Clansmen will need their stronger, but not original Weapon statistics. When this is done; a separate queue will have to be made because people will want to play their original mechs.

(My Argument for separate queues 2)
More Damage, Damage mitigation, and Range will inherently be superior unless the punishments and disadvantages equate to zero.
As said on NGNG. If you have an XL that can run at 100% even though it is damaged; how is that not superior to Inner Sphere technology?

Currently, the Damage, Heat, Range, Speed, and Mitigation utterly, trash the Inner sphere in 5-10 drops. Ya, the game might be fun... if you're in a Clan mech. The disadvantages are not heavy enough for to justify bringing a Non Light Inner-sphere mech.

(My Argument for separate queues 3)
By having separate queues. It will be faster to determine Clan Tech with Innersphere tech, and it gives Inner Sphere players a break from being trashed in 5-10s. The Data will be more easily tracked by PGI, and they could even do it on the Test Servers.

(My argument for separate queues 4)
It keeps both Inner Sphere players and Clan players happy because the Clansmen retain their Range and Damage numbers, but will have to fight more Innersphere, while the Inner Sphere have a better chance of fighting off Clans, or just playing against other Inner Sphere in chasis they miss.

In Short:
Separate queues will enhance game balancing for PGI, but it turns the community into a guinea pig.
The Clansmen are going to have to make a choice. I know they want their superior Tech, but in the spirit of fairness and sportsmanship.
They will either have to give up their heat efficiency for their long Range Heavy-hitting Weapons or Give up their Critical Slot size if they want to have both.

What do you folks think about this?

so you want to split an already small player base into even smaller groups? No. They need to balance Clan mechs, which they are doing now. Let's hope they do a good job at it
