The KC has no business being that small, with dual ballistic arms on a 100T mech.
They also should have scaled the Nova down by 25% to 30%, that's a big part of it's performance and also hampers many other medium mechs.

Seriously I was walking next to a Catphract the other day and was completely shocked when I realized not only was I just as tall as him, I was actually quite a bit wider.

Forget a bout the nova, its just a placeholder for how big the king crab will be. and judge it that way

You are a legendary founder so you should be all set for the Atlas and the King Crab.
Btw don't take the comparison to the Atlas as being how it will be sized in game. Not sure why Alex did that but the scaling will come from the modelers and they will do side by side comparisons of the art before they begin to model.

Just doesn't look blocky and clunky like most of the other IS mechs, its so sleek and modern.

so the moderlers are going to be donig as great as they ahve aways done with scaling the mechs. Wonderful. Sarcasm.
really?
So first complain about the scale, then complain that the modelers will probably go the other way?
Yeah, I don't love their scaling either, but jeez dude, no winning with you.

when I demonstrated a size reduction to the CPLT a 10% reduction was quite noticable>
The CPLT in the middle was reduced by 10%. Off the top of my head I imagine a 25-30% reduction to the nova would be very extreme.

Not just you, I agree 100%
Reminds me of something "Covenant" from HALO.
Put a Glossy Purple and Teal Paint on it, and it becomes a Covenant "mech" lol. I might just go with that paint scheme anyway.

You could be right, but the Nova is on the extreme end of wide for a medium mech.
It weighs 50 tons, but it is humongous.
What do you think would be a reasonable reduction?

LOL... it honestly can't be. People already complain that the Atlas has low arm hardpoints. If that were the true scale, it'd make the CTF-4X look like a skyscraper. And I'd still drive it

Hmm.. yeah it is fat. I guess about 10%.
It's arms would be like scraping the ground if it was reduced any more XD

But does it have any torso twist? that would be it's downside and what in my mind makes it so typically IS.....great mech, with one glaring weakness...While a clan mech of similar build and loadout would have a torso twist...isnt the Behemoth a Ballistic mech? Or can be...I know in GBL I always had like 3 GRs on it haha.
