lets do a little gathering here and post a mech of each class wich you think you see the Least.

And perhaps post some reasons..why they are the least seen

Light: Commando
Medium: Trebuchet
Heavy: Dragon
Assault: Battlemaster

I think the problem is being some mechs being just clearly superior hardpoint wise to others...
I havent seen a trebuchet and dragon in such a long time, that i feel like starting to get these mechs to help re-populate the premises

I also think that the trail mechs are also a hazard...As if the most popular mechs are mostly choosen as trail mechs

Non trial Kintaros are also rare.

Light: Locust (the opposite end of the survivability scale from the Spider)
Medium: Wolverine (after playing it recently i understand why. Worst mech I've ever used by far)
Heavy: Dragon (probably see it the least but not by much)
Assault: Awesome (same as the Dragon. I see many but not as much as the other assaults)

Solo queue only.

Trebuchets, Wolverines and Dragons seem to be the rarest. All of the others turn up fairly often.

you don't see bad mechs, as they are usually dumped on my team when I pug instead of yours, where they spend 3-8 minutes clowning around before getting blown up or spontaneously combusting

Hey i'm madly leveling all 5 of my locusts from scratch this weekend! Already been TK'd by one person in a TBR and legged by someone in a SCR right at the start of the match. Then there was the Direwolf in the group queue who emo rage quit at seeing a locust on his side. This might be one reason you don't see many of certain mechs.

PS: Best thing was the DWF bailed on the other 4 people in his group that were there.... failure..... :o

I see Battlemasters all the time. I even see Locusts quite often. This is the solo queue mind you, last time I checked the group queue was filled with the competetive 'Mechs.

I rarely see Commandos, Cicadas, Wolverines or Quickdraws. Wolverine probably being the most rare. Can't think of any assaults I don't see commonly.

Mediums: Trebuchet, non-ecm cicadas, non-trial kintaro's, wolverines
Heavies: Anything that isn't a timberwolf
Assaults: Anything that isn't a Direwolf or an Atlas

Yeah, Dragon, Highlander (though there have been quite a few this weekend), Commando, Locust, non 3L Ravens, Adder, Vindicator, Centurion, Hunchback, Trebuchet, Wolverine, Dragon, Quickdraw, Orion, Summoner. Come to think of it, it would be easier to list the 'Mechs I do see on a regular basis

No Cataphracts? No Gaussjagers? Man, I wish I were so lucky. I would take on a Timber over a Cataphract any day.

Lights: Locust mostly. I see a commando every now and then.
Mediums: Trebs, kintardo's and Whats-it-called...Wolverine!
Heavy: Dragons, quickdraw and Orions.
Assaults: Highlanders are getting more rare.

I would take those 3 mechs over people spamming T-wolf prime (I's) and C's outfitted with laser vomit builds in every match.

Victor's I rarely see now. Its all dire wolves and Atlas' (mostly DDC's, but I see others as well.)

Yeah Battlemasters are somewhat rare and honestly that surprises me because my Battlemaster is my top mech. I mean it has everything an Assault can want. Ability to have great speed, very good armor, great hitboxes, high mounted weapons slots and very good firepower yet not many play them.

Properly piloted Gaussphract > laservomit. I would agree that the Victor is the second-least common assault (funny, because the least common is the Highlander...wonder what those 'Mechs have in common)

Highlander used to be a good mech, now its target practice and the victor keeps it company.:)

Gaussphracts are too slow these days. People who role in a death-ball and stay mobile just roll into them and target their torso's and its over.

T-wolves are faster, more durable, and are still deadly when they loose a torso. (At least till the XL changes come in.) Gaussphracts are really only good if the other team doesn't know what they are doing and simply remains "passive" throughout the entire engagement.

The ones I see least are Trebs. Even Locusts are much more common.

Besides mech classes I noticed that some hero mechs are notoriously absent.

So far I have only seen one Hellslinger and not even a single Sparky.
