How would you work the B-2000 Battle computer for the cyclops?

Now that is an interesting weapons loadout. One of the (relatively) few Mechs that could do really well with stock loadout. Not sure how those large shoulders would do with XL engines, but that is a different matter

Description
The Charger is seen as an example of abject failure in BattleMech design. hmm that's out of the picture then :)

The Cyclops began production in 2710 too old and much like an atlas.

The Zeus ZEU-6Y ZEU-9S ZEU-9S2 Gets my vote

The Zeus went into production in 2787. Not much more spry than the Cyclops.

The ZEU-6Y was a failed experiment, of which only a handful were built. The 9S2 does not go into production for 2 years (3051).

Similarly, the 5S and 5T were one shots. Though any of them would be interesting.

The models you would almost certainly get are the 6S, 6T and 9S.

to my mind, with the current system, it would probably be related to modules. They need to revise the module system based on role, anyhow, and give certain mechs extra spaces dependant on type of module. I would give the Cyclops some huge number of Sensor related module slots. Barring that, make it ECM and CC capable? Possibly give it a quirk with it's sensor range or target gathering as a base chassis quirk?

Ask the Victor how large shoulders do for XL engines. Just depends how much end up arms.

Cyclops, only if we can get its battle computer properly implemented (perhaps through perks):

Quote

The centerpiece of the Cyclops is it's sophisticated holographic battle computer, the Tacticon B-2000. When combined with the Omstead Olmstead 840 tight beam comm suite with SatNav module, the Cyclops can effectively command a brigade across the surface of an entire world.

If not possible, I'll gladly settle for the Zeus.

ZEUS!
If you want a 90t Mech, so give us the MAULER and not that CYCLOPS without his most important function...

Whatever happens, you're going to get a mech that nobody will play, much like the Highlander, Victor, Awesome Battle-master, Thunderbolt.

To satisfy my curiosity please weigh in on this poll, thanks!

I was hoping for the Mauler tbh as it can pack some decent AC power that might be able to answer a Direwolf somewhat, and a dual ballistic torso assault is much needed.

Also can the new Atlas have glowing eyes, closed beta skin and/or Misery style battle worn armor. Oh and a head similar to founders with unique geometry.

I voted Zeus. I liked the loadout and variants better, but I'd like to see both Zeus and Cyclops in the game.

Wonder if we will get a Medium Mech Poll after, for some type of upcoming IS Mech Pack :)
(I know it technically isn't 3053 yet, but I really really want my Bushwacker lol, And
since the Vulture is here and that Mech made the BW possible, it is almost within sight for me)

I wouldn't say that. The Highlander was one of the most popular Mechs when it came out and fairly often used just a little while ago again.
And the Victor? Before the reduction of the PPC speed most 12 people units used the Victor with 2xPPC and 2xAC5.
My own unit used it a long time as a fast and jump-capable brawler with AC20+2 LPL.
it fell a little out of style in the last month or two but it is still a great Mech. And when they tweak the weapons again the Mechs mostly used will change again as well....
And you can use the Battlemaster just as good as a LRM boat as a Stalker. Only difference you can put a large XL on it if you want ;)

I'm for the Zeus, personally speaking here, but there are others to think about.

For instance:

Say that Russ and the gang put together another package. What would that package entail?

Well, there are some good choices:

Annihilator (fear the four Gauss Gunslinger!)
Crockett
Imp
Shogun

Call it the Assault Package. :)

Yo would need to call that the Dragoon Package, since3 of those are extinct or never existed in the IS, outside of the Dragoons.

Now Mauler, Cyclops, Devastator and Zeus? Well, there is an Assault package that could happen! ;)

Zeus! Zeus! Zeus! Honestly, it's the only IS mech we'll ever get that I'd be really excited over :-( Been a hardcore fan of the Zeus since TT days. Iconic BT mech, featured on many covers (and previous Mechwarrior intro videos). Would be a shame not to have this.

Also, would totally throw down cash for a pre-order Zeus. You can quote me on this :P
