Updated with a River City Night run.

May I suggest HWiNFO64 and GenericLogViewer? HWiNFO now can read fps from RTSS, which comes with Afterburner.

I was using HWiNFO64 and GenericLogViewer prior to this. I switched to using Afterburners log and compiling the data on my own.

Is there an accuracy difference between Afterburner/RTSS and HWiNFO?

You have to open it in Notepad, save as a .txt Then open in Open Office as a spreadsheet (You need to look down the list and open it as a .CSV/.TXT

Then you simply have to adjust the formatting ever so slightly.

Ok, I mimicked Lordred's settings, used his user.cfg and ran a test on my machine. I'm not as handy with spreadsheets as Lordred. I've got my averages but I don't have any graphs yet.

My machine: Intel i5 4670k @3.4ghz, ASrock z97 pro3 mobo, 8gb ADATA 1866 ram, WD caviar green HDD, AMD Radeon 6950 1gb video card.

Map: HPG Manifold

GPU Average Usage: 88.4%
Average Video Ram usage: 934mb
Average FPS: 58
Average Core 1 Usage: 28%
Average Core 2 Usage: 36%
Average Core 3 Usage: 43%
Average Core 4 Usage: 65%

Edit: Graphs

BTW, Ninjitsu, that was recorded during a live match and not during the testing grounds, right? ;)

I expected your GPU usage to be much higher, but your GPU is also a lot slower. I will just have to keep dropping till I get HPG manifold wont it?

Yes, this was during a live match. I was bottle necking at my GPU, there's multiple times where I was at 99%

This game really likes Intel CPU's!!!

Fps still goes down to 35 with the intel, and it's only gpu limited at the end of the game. I wouldn't say it "likes" intel cpu's, just hates FX cpu's.

When I dip in to the 30's, my GPU is at 100%. My video card is about 3 times weaker than Lordred's

Also, my CPU is running at 1ghz slower than Lordred's :D

Doesn't look like it, gpu use is going between 50 to 100 when fps is going between 37 to 70. I'd say you're still cpu bound for the best part of the match, but you can still overclock it of course.

Gotta side with Flap, your GPU useage is showing about low 60% utilization while your FPS is in the 40's

When I get all the maps up, I will make some more charts on based on the avg's. So just bear with me while I get all of the data in.

Updated with HPG run.

990FX stock @ 4.7ghz w/ R9 270X, max settings/resolution @ 1080. Runs at or above 60fps on most maps, dips to 40 in river city night. Some maps, crimson straight for ex: 74fps constant and these numbers are in live drops. Testing grounds never dips @ 120fps. Next week I'll try to get some graphs and I wish I had a bigger monitor for higher res maybe my friend will let me borrow one.

I have a 4k res monitor, I am doing these tests at 1080 specifically because that is the most common resolution. When I am done and have all the maps documented at 4700mhz, Stock, and 1CpM. I may do a few at 1440p and 2160p.

Edit:
I am also locking my FPS to 70, keep that in mind, the goal is to find sustainable FPS, not max FPS.

I think it's weird how little the game really pushes the hardware. CPU usage on both machines tested stays relatively low. 37% average GPU load for Lordred on HPG. Where are the FPS going?!

Probably something that's hard to multithread, so isn't multithreaded, the other cores have to wait for 1 core to finish a calculation before they can calculate the next thing. In your graph you see core4 being loaded much heavier than the others.

Because I saw something similar on my old quad (first gen i5) I decided to sidegrade to an overclocked pentium G3258, reckon it's an upgrade for this game, slight downgrade for bf4, but I never play that anymore anyway.

Dude, I have an FX-8350 and a GTX760 4GB with 16 GB 1600 RAM, I can play the game just fine with respectable scores, using a JS and Nostromo n52. I usually have a 30-60 ping. You should not have any problems playing. If you consistently get over 30 FPS - awesome.

like this:

Ping doesn't have much to do with the computer.

30fps is pretty bad.
