Concept:
Pseudo In game radio channels dedicated to each house featuring faction based content and Advertising for F2P revenue.
* Multiple Channels, each house having a specific channel to increase maximum advertising content.
* Channels Serve to shape player behavior alerting them specifically production Attack Targets, Attack Results, production defense targets, defense results.
* Channels Serve to add MMO in game depth with specific event cannon news.
* Players of different house have opprotunity to create arbitrage by listening in on "bountiful" production or mech specific production of other houses on different channels, creating spontaneous attack bubbles and defense bubbles.
* if economics become a factor in this game then this also servers to shape in game markets.
* Radio adds to imersion of gameplay blurring reality and science fiction.
* By seperating each precorded advertisementm, cannon as a specific file on a list to play, content can be both mixed and fresh.
reoccuring In game events would only need to be recorded once as well.
By intergrating this feature the ability to specifically attack different homeworlds as featured in megamek and the intergation of Wide encompansing experience coupled with predetermined small boxed matches becomes a reality.
In essence this creates a large virtual space, while maintaining the most minimum of interfaces.
Also suggested, Specific window feature dedicated to map, and target choice, Overall statics page, I believe these features can be seperated from the main window to both satify hardcore fans and casual players.
If graphical advertisements are added, then a pseudo tv could be implimented instead.

This idea is based off fallout radio. Only thing is real advertisements should be mixed in with "innersphere cannon news". You could have this buzzing in the waiting rooms. It would give a very real feel to the game and be another way of making money without to much impact to the game. I wouldnt mind an occasional coke jingle other soft drink mixed in as long as its done tastefully. Everything could be prerecorded, you don't actually need a real radio.
