I notice the server listings are kinda dull, but I dont mind hosting a open room. There is another room but it seems to be kinda full and locked.

I would love to get in some MW4 on a server with some folks.

When i downloaded the game previously, though, the online servers were pretty much non-existent. Any solutions for this?

have you tried to push, just connect and not the mektek servers?

yup...when i had it installed a few weeks ago I would just hit connect....4 rooms came up, but I couldn't connect to any of them

Go into regedit, find the mektek key, and under 'mekmatch', change 'zoneserver' from 'davion' to 'kurita'.

Tons of action on there.

if you are trying to connect through a router there has to be some ports that are open. which ones and how to go about opening them I do not know.

having trouble on win7 64 bit. any suggestions?

Personally, I'd love to.

But, when I DL'd the game, it wouldnt update, crashed and removed the desktop shortcuts, then, when I reinstalled MTX, it wouldn't download the game again.

We (We being the www.housesteiner.com units) do this most weeknights.... feel free to join us if you ever see our servers up. We use MPBT:Genesis and/or Housesteiner.com.... usually an absolute blast. You can go to the forums there and register, find the teamspeak3 info (under technical support tab I believe) and pop in and say hi... get involved, help us shape the website, drop in MW4 with us and, generally network...

There is all kinds of info on how to troubleshoot and you can usually find a couple of guys on Teamspeak3 there that know exactly how to solve most installation issue's too

Would love to if i could get the crappy thing to work.

It just pops up the window when loading which then vanishes. No error message nothing...=\

Maybe it doesnt like win 7 64bit

thats what im running... pop on the housesteiner.com TS3 server one evening and see if one of the guys can talk you through it... they got mine up and running for me. (Tonight may not be the best night it seems... there are only a few of us on right now)
