6xLRM5, 4xERML is incredibly effective right now in the soloque. Theres no ECM since everyone is running heavies and assualts. This thing with the high mounted cockpit and launchers excels as a Lurmer. Had two direwolfs below me on hyperpulse and was able to peek quite effectively at them too maintain lock while they couldnt hit me in return. The LRM5s alpha launched arrive at the target in one big group much like IS missles with only a 2 second cooldown inbetween. Chainfire on targets in the open for shake with 6 launchers? Its like hitting them with one continous rocket machinegun that neverstops till they reach cover or die. Going to be a lot of crying and whining over this mech.

I have one set up with 2x LRM20, 2x LRM15, 5x SL. Runs kinda hot. But 70 tubes at 89kph is pretty great.

I just played one game in the new MDD Prime...all of these chassis. all i can really say is:



love them!!! can't wait for the Loki's (WITH ECM)!!!

I fought against a couple of them this morning with that exact setup. They overheat way way too easy. Easy kills.

My own take (as previewed here) manages 19 total DHS, with six tons of rocket ammo as well as the default 4x C-ERML backup. Still runs hot as all get-out, but you've got more room under the cap to pursue a kill, and some extra flex for putting laser fire into a damaged component in a close fight rather than waste more missiles on it. I am very much looking forward to giving it a go when I get back home from work today.


this is what I am running. I also tried 6xSRM4 with Artemis for fun and to see if the faster rate of fire would help...Not sure yet on it though.
