The 6x SSRM4 build is murderous. I can chainfire for approximately a full minute on Tourmaline before I hit 95% heat, or can fire 5 alphas before hitting 97%.

Too many 4 kill, 600+ damage games for me to screenshot. The 370m range is amazing.

The best thing is how you cripple a light mech with one salvo .If the get within your range they die.

PGI did a perfect job on the mad dog.

Its tall like its supposed to be, which makes it a little squishy due to its profile.
It doesn't feel as durable as the storm crow.

It does make an excellent support mech, though. Even lacking endo steel, it has decent space for weapons.

I honestly think a 5x srm6 stormcrow would beat a 6x srm6 mad dog in a duel.
I think the stormcrow is a better brawler, but the mad dog is a good support mech.

Kudos PGI, don't change a thing!

For some reason I am finding the 6s to spread too much, even with artemis. 4s just seem to work better for me for some odd reason.

This is it. Never fire the MLs in close range, unless it's to kill or knock off a weakened component.

edit: oops posted wrong build, fixed

Yeah I noticed that too! The SSRM6 missile spread is almost comical. The 4s are almost like firing standard SRMs with Artemis, they're really focused.

confused...

are some of you using SSRM and mean SRM?

I've been messing with a 3xSSRM2 + 3xSSRM4 and not really liking it. I really dislike the SSRMs and I am also having issues with them firing. I have a lock, hold the lock for quite some time, with in 360m and push fire and.......nothing...they just don't fire. its weird.

I also have one with 6xSRM2s + gauss + something else...(not at computer that has gme) the endless 2s in chain is a hoot...but not very effective.

I still vote 6xSRM4+Artemis. its like an LBX~48.
