机械武器 (jīxiè wǔqì) is probably the closest thing to "BattleMech". I'm not Chinese and thus I don't always understand how the linguistical breakdown for shortening of words works, but I'd hazard a guess that "jīwǔ" is close to whatever they use as the shorthand version.

Strangely, I'm not sure if I'd like that. If only because they could really take the Xin Sheng movement and run with it. Leaving those of us who don't speak any chinese in the dust. Then again, We would probably get a LOT of folks from there joining the CapCon, and crush the Davions in community warfare... Bring on the Chinese playerbase! Death to the Davions!

To be honest, I really hope we are all on one central server and not split across the world like in World of Tanks; would be nice to have more asian players around during the traditional "anzac" timezone! When we get lumped onto US servers its basically a graveyard shift and makes for boring gameplay :/
