The bad thing is that Laser-HSR seems different between the Players/Matches - you can never make an informed guess how muich damage you take when you attack a Laser armed Mech so it can be stealing Lollipops from Babys to immediate Self-Obliteration.

Yep Hit Reg is just a joke..... IS Med Pulse Lasers are ok but any other Laser Clan or IS just trolls if the target is moving.

Just a heads up:

Russ responded to my video on twitter. He sees there is some issue with the registration, but says it might be a couple more weeks before the CW2 duties are light enough to work on it. All the same, please continue to post videos with clear footage and, if at all possible, share the youtube link with Russ on twitter @russ_bullock .

The more clear video footage we can get of it, the better it is both to build the case and to provide their team with more clues as to what can be going on.

I wish someone would fix hit reg before CW gets released, or many of us won't be able to enjoy CW. It's getting really bad now.
Also, guys, keep adding videos.

Lasers are working fine for me. If the target is not moving too much, good damage, if it is shifting quickly low damage. The beam durations are too long, PGI just went overboard with it. Maybe it's causing a bug now.

LMAO! I just hit a direwolf who was on top of the platform while I was underneath. I shot in a straight line under him (trying to hit a non targeted mech who was on the ground level coming out of the tunnel) and my laser registered a hit on his right torso!

To be clear, He was on top, I was underneath, I was shooting at another mech underneath. The DWF up top, took the hit, twice and my laser stopped in mid air. Its like my client thought he was down on the basement floor rather than on the top.

Snuck up on a stationary Kit Fox and fired 6 ML's (30 damage) all on one leg (max 28 armor). The armor barely turned orange.

SRMS ARE BROKEN AGAIN ..PLEASE FIX ALL HIT DETECTION ISSUE ....

I mean com on you just can not have those issue in a game that's been out of beta for over a year

its becoming point less playing the game ....more luck then anything else .tired of getting killed by mechs that should be dead and having kills taken cos my shot didn't reg ... why do we get these problems .... I don't want new content .... I just want a game that works properly ... based in the UK ... so could this be a cause

So I'm finding myself having to lead targets farther and farther for hitreg..

Sometimes its ok, other times its like why even bother with lasers anymore.
Taking the effort to really put some solid aim on the enemy, and its like my shots just don't count.

I feel the same Enemy rushed my small pulse build which does 52 damage per alpha. and he almost ran into me and it was like he took zero damage, that should have at least destroyed his armor but the color didn't even change.

It is truly hard to find out your true performance level with the many hit reg issues....1 week it is lasers, the next week it is srms or Lrms. Maybe they should make them sticky to the 1st component they hit so that they actually register the hit.
