So yesterday feeling was much:

But wow, that cockpit, why is there that spinning sphere in it? I tried to figure out what sense it may have. But so far the only one I found is probably a easter egg relating to Event Horizon?

Spoiler

So mad doggy with a mad making sphere in it.

I really love the mech, the design is great. Looks even better than the Timberwolf

What I wonder a bit is: The Prime Stormcrow Unique Invasion variant has tiny hands instead of that 3-claw like hands compared to the standard variant. The Doggy has only those 3 clawed hands, even on the unqiue prime Variant. I expected Hands here too.

yeha but its a strange thing the mad dog has it and ohers not, and yet it seems toturn too slow for a measuring instrument llike gyroskope. And it hardly makes sense to build it in the cockpit where it is exposed to environment and dirt.

Ahh sry I forgot to uplaod the pics yesterday in steam :/. So someone else needs to do this, or you have to wait until the evening.
Cockpit is also nice, big window, not so claustrophobic like the Nova.

I always liked the design of the Mad Dog. In MW2 it was my second favorite mech behind the Timberwolf.

It still is behind the Timber Wolf design wise in my eyes, but it still holds that solid second place in my eyes. I just wish it had the long laser barrels.

Still, great job designing it.

Ok, so finally on topic. Is that "Sphere" supposed to be the Gyro? If you take a critical hit to your gyro with that design, it must mean you "the pilot" must have an enemy shell sitting on your lap LOL.

If anyone is dead and wants to see it spinning in game, im sure asking a player not in combat will get you a nicer look at it :)

it spins there rather freely, so if you take a hit anywhere, you may probably seek for it between your feet.

That isn't a gyro scope, it is more like a horizon indicator on a plane. You might even describe it as a level. Basically at a glance it allows you to see the pitch of your mech when your moving over uneven terrain.

If it is a gyroscope.. I'd have to resist rolling the ball with my hand while walking.

No it is not, because it constantly spins.

the sphere as well as the ring around it both spin.

Trackball point defense, kind of like what the SDF had in Robotech

Or maybe the AMS is pilot controlled, like Missile Command.

The very first thing I thought of was the engine from Event Horizon.

It is a Crystal Ball that the pilot rubs to see if the missiles will hit or not ,also to predict whether you will lose the match or win depending on pugs in team =x
