Fix the forums login.

Every time I want to post I have to re-login. I don't know that the forums have *ever* kept me logged in despite the fact that I check "Keep me logged in" every single time I log in.
Is there any possible way we could fix this. Getting really tired of logging in all the time.

EDIT: But I feel your pain. I'm generally pretty neutral as to whether I stay logged in or not, but it can get anoying sometimes.
EDIT2: Or it keeps you from timing out on the forums after a period of inactivity.

Note: I also hope there are plans in the pipeline to throw my CC details behind another layer of security so that my forums access will become easier.

Great post.
I find it super annoying too. The whole login thing is messed up in many ways. I can't save password properly ever. I cat even log in on my mobile phone.
The log me out all the time thing is bad too.

I know how to click a checkbox. This is a tech problem or a security "feature" that needs to go.

I am using Google Chrome on Windows 7 x64 and have both checked the stay logged in option and asked chrome to remember my login/password and neither of those occurs. The forum logs me out every time the forum tab is closed or the computer goes to sleep. I also get an auth timeout after an unidentified period of inactivity in the forums tab, without closing the window or the computer going to sleep.

Chrome is pretty popular, can we get persistent login for chrome? I hardly think its a browser issue as it doesn't happen on any other site
