The only way to really overcome this is playing in groups, as solo is woefully inconsistent for results (as in, playing well will generally get you a win... can't honestly guarantee that in solo).
I still feel poorer than Blake.

Did they build those stashes before or after the CBill nerf? When there were very few Mech modules to buy, no Weapon Modules, and IS (cheaper) Mechs only?
The 110K CBills I had stashed went quickly once I started buying Clan weapons and weapon modules. Trying to get enough CBills to keep buying the weapon modules I need to optimise the $240 of Clan Mechs I bought with real money, seems to be taking quite a long time, at half dozen matches (one hour) per day.
6 matches per day is only 0.78M CBills per day. So that's one 3M CBill weapon module every four days, or one 6M CBill Mech module every 8 days, playing an hour of Mechwarrior Online per day.
How much of an effort are you proposing players should make, when they've spent $240 on Clan Mechs, and several hundred dollars more on Hero Mechs, Phoenix pack and other game content?

In the time since my Masakari Pack dropped, I've somehow managed to spend 111M CBills just on Clan weapons, the odd Omnipod and heaps of Weapon Modules.
Even though I've been using Hero and Prime Mechs for most matches, and using Premium Time, and playing a half dozen matches every day, averaging 129K CBills per match, I'm somehow not making enough money to even buy the rest of the Weapons Modules I need, let alone new Mechs.
So IMHO, Premium Time needs to be bumped up to 2X. That would be consistent with its earning levels before they nerfed CBills.
If PGI did improve Premium Time, I'd buy more of it.
What do you think?
I feel you. Actually about the only thing I really have an issue with is the cost of modules. I would love to mount up some weapons modules and fill up those empty slots but at 3 million a piece that is not happening, especially when I just dropped 60 million on a set of Dire Wolves. I also will be needing a set of War Hawks at some point too and that will be another 60 million. Luckly I Ala Carte purchased my Timber Wolf and Stormcrow or no way in hell would I be able to even save for the mechs let alone modules.
Also I only own two mech modules that I have to swap between mechs every time I want to switch up what I am playing and for the same reason, 6 million each. That is the cost of a fricken Clan mech just to fill the slots on one mech.
Whole thing gets even more annoying when I look at the 40+ mechs (with more comming) I own and realize there is no way in hell that I will ever be able to fully outfit all these mechs so I don't have to mess with swaping crap around every time I play a different mech. Whole thing is frustrating.
What should be the case is that mounting these modules should be as common a task as mounting a PPC on them mech. Cost should be maybe 250,000 C-bills and then at that price, you just fill the slots on each and every mech you own rather than swaping crap all the time. End result would honestly be a larger C-bill sink in the end but at least you could get fully outfit your go to mechs without having to play 3 days straight just to get one module.

I'd argue more people would play more, and premium time would be worth more with a, dare I say, a real league.....

The new hero event is a joke it should have been wrote up like this ill post this from another topic
PGI'S advertising and market department are not very bright light bulbs to be sure. If your going to have a event and want to sell these inferior hero mechs your add should be.
(It's new! It's exciting! It's the LANCE OF HEROES Weekend!
These 4 Heroes will be receiving an additional 20% C-bill boost to their Hero Bonus; Earning an amazing 50% C-bills boost for the weekend.
This C-Bill bonus applies in any and all public matches played over this weekend while using the following 'Mechs:)
AND NOW THE BEST PART YOU CAN BUY THESE HERO MECHS WITH FREE MECH BAYS FOR 50% OFF!!!!!!!
As you can see it would have given players a real good reason to buy these mechs instead they will probably ban me like the rest of the smart people still trying to playing this game.
the reason most players buy anything in this game is on impulse or its just such a good deal they cant resist buying it when the staff has a energy brain surge and makes it un resistible.

I don't expect the grind to obtain anything in this game to be easy... If I want it bad enough I'll just outright buy the damn thing. Otherwise, I'll grind away at a steady pace and eventually get there.
This whole... I'm not getting there fast enough carping makes no sense to me...
It's part of the game for crumbs sake!

I am sorry but that ship has already sailed you can buy C-Bills for MC now go check if you don't believe me.
At a rate so bad that it makes premium look brilliant so no......
Having spent the last year doing all the **** mech's I avoided like locusts I've dropped to 143,378.63 per match.
I have bought, fit and kept fit every mech in game. Steadily picking up the weapon modules.

Imho, there is no point in having two lanes of progression. By the time I master one mech, I should have more than enough to buy and customize the next, which is definitely not how it works now. Premium time should be primarily useful for shortening the XP progression, the C-Bills should just be a perk. To me, Premium works currently reverse of what it should, the primary draw for premium to me is the C-Bills.
Not to mention the fact that customization and experimentation are one of the features of the game, and C-BIlls limit how much you can enjoy that feature, thus why it is a bad mechanic imo. If you want to keep people from progressing too fast, make us have to use XP to unlock variants or increase the amount of XP needed to master something, just do it without economy adjustment. The MC costs of all mechs need to be reduced to compensate or at least offer some temporary boost to that mech (with regards to earnings) to make buying with MC more worthwhile under this adjusted economy.

Edit:
The current system is so "late 2000s first F2P experiment, trying to milk money in non-customer-friendly ways"...
Basically the way premium time currently works has the exact same problem to it that subscription haters always use as an argument against subs and for F2P: you pay a lot of money for time based access to something and in fact get to use about 25% of it at most meaning you overpay by at least 75%.

Can I have what your smoking. Seriously guys, no game does this and if they did, it wouldn't be remotely profitable.
I am going to quote you so statistics from my time in World of Tanks because I actually have reliable statistics available for that game.
I have been playing WoTs since Apr 12th, 2011 which was the release date. Now I have taken breaks now and again but overall since that day, I have played 7,113 battles and each battle takes pretty mech the exact same time as playing a MWO battle. Now do you have any how much time I actually was in battle in that game? Make a good guess because we are talking over 3 years of playing and over 7,000 battles. Want to know?
24 days, 19 hours.
Yep my actual online playing time in 3 years and 7,113 battles is only 24 days and 19 hours and you guys want, no expect, MWO premium time to be 1000 MC for 30 days and only countdown while your playing. Seriously?
Sorry guys, but while alot of MC related items are totally out of line and crazily priced, premium time isn't one of them and it is no more expensive than any other game similar to MWO is charging.
So while we might debate that the C-bill rewards per match are too low or that modules cost way too much, premium time is 100% spot on with what it offers.

And modules should not cost as much as some mech lol. I mean come on, $500 for a gold mech? And people actually paid that?

It is far cheaper to grind out 3 of the same mech variants at the same time, instead of EVERY mech in a pack at the same time. It sucks because you can't have fun with all of them at the same time, but at least you won't be running out of cash immediately when that happens.
