Hey all,
I'm hoping this can be answered quick and maybe then dumped to the bottom or someone could just post a link. I can't find a detailed forum result using that search bar and I'm heading off to work soon. (Have to get some food money now that by $120 "snack" food jar is emptied )
I had just a brief reading on the community warfare pillar game play and I guess I'm looking to see what exactly we know right now. What does it matter if I join a IS faction vs Merc Group vs Lone Wolf, and anything else that might be helpful tidbits.
**Also for any recruiters out there... "Why should I join your group, faction, etc."** (Auxiliary part of message)
About me:
College student, in the army, and will have some time to play during the year, especially later in the day.
I'd like to say I'm above average in almost every game I play... Enough to not be called a noob, but still get my butt handed to me by die hards (I'm talking games like: Call of Duties, StarCraft 2, Mech Assault on the Xbox, WOT, etc. a good mix of mainstream FPS and RTS.) I love using voice chat when I'm with people who actually talk, otherwise I'll just sit back in help when I can/see an opportunity. Most game that have chat I'll run with a group of randoms typically when entering a lobby.
If this is a bad post or not the right area, feel free to delete it or tell me to. Thanks

The only I recall off hand is that Community Warfare will not be in as of Launch.

From their comments though the difference in you being House/Merc/LW will sort of effect c-bills and loyalty points(which look to effect House rank and maybe in time house discounts.. ie House Steiner gets a 10% discount of certain mech chassis or repairs of certain weapons or armor types while House Marik gets them for something else..)
They have mentioned in various interviews and blogs.. House members will get rank and daily pay based on that rank.. Merc units will get money from planets they garrison and contracts they take.. I would think this would also mean they get paid a daily or weekly amount from the unit. Lone Wolfs they have not gotten into much yet so no clue where to go with that.
Also they commented that with higher rank or loyalty in a House you can be in Canon units they are saving for that purpose.. But as is mentioned a lot of the meta game is plans and hopes and not yet code..
