I say it's a decent build. Non meta, and it works well if you learn how to use it.
I like to think I'm a master of non-meta builds; I say there's better ways to build a Jagermech. Don't believe me - check out the entries for the champion mech rebuild...some of them are silly, too, mind you, but there's some good examples.

I was bored of the SRM4/6 meta, and my MDD A uses the 6 LRM5 build. There's not a lot you can do with those MDD-C arms (especially as clan ACs are so poor), but feel free to post some suggestions...
SRM2s just seem quite hot to me and you have to maintain face-staring; and clan ACs of any kind just...stink. I've tried so hard to make clan ACs work, and even with the best possible hard points (summoner torsos), whether UAC or LBX or whatever, it just sucked.
The -C arms are kinda meant to be used with the -C torsos too, cause both torsos together give you 20% ballistic cooldown - which is pretty hefty, especially since clan mechs usually get no quirk love.
I had alot of fun getting basics on that variant with 3 MPL on the right arm & Gauss on the left arm; I'm sure it'd have made an even meaner brawler if I used an LBX20 or UAC/20 (since if you're up close, you can mitigate the problems of those things).
I just wouldn't try using the missiles & ballistics together on the Mad Dog, I'd feel very disjointed and like I was trying to do two different things at once. So I'd either do the -C torsos + a ballistic + lasers on the other arm, or if I wanted the SRM-2 love I'd do something like this:

Headshake rather than a facepalm, man.
