if i remember right wont 4 give you a constent stream of fire after you have fast fire / modules ?

hmm ok i was kinda doing the math off the top of my head i was thinking 4 would get a constant stream after mod and fast fire so yah bad build


on a side note just saw a stalker with 2 lrm20 and 1 lrm5 + art and 4 spl that was it

Encountered another of those 4 LRM20 Stalkers this weekend, luckily he was not on my team this time.

But what truly baffled me was a Commando I encounterd with: 3 Flamers and 1 Lrm5.........wut?!

I spectated a teammate driving a King Crab, and saw this:

That is a King Crab armed with 6x Machineguns, 2x ER Large Laser and 2x LRM10 with Artemis IV.
...and he got knocked out by side torso destruction, meaning an XL engine.

I recently saw an Atlas S with 2 er large lasers and 4(!) LRM-15s on Forest Colony. He somehow survived until the end of the match, where I had to fight him one on one. I managed to win, but primarily because I knocked the side torsos of the Atlas off and he had no other weapons.

No idea what the engine or armor was, but the 'mech was something like this.

The worst part was that my unit was laughing so hard at this, we didnt see the rest of the enemies pushing over the hill ..

I was running an AC2 with a few MLs on a RVN-4X for a while... It didn't do much damage, but I like to think that I annoyed lots of enemies with screenshake.
(Using AC5 + MLs on that RVN-4X now. Not that fun AND not efficient.)

Funny - after a bit of CWing against Clanners, I made a 3M with 4 LPLs and 3 Flamers. Someone locked me, laughed, and said "lol dafuq is THAT build"

After I shut down three Crows and a TBR so I could tear them apart, he wasn't laughing so much. Although granted, a lot of the above builds are bad, but sometimes what works for you is weirdly put together.

I've recently thrown a pair of Ultra AC5's on the right arm of my Centurion-AH... that's it for weapons lol... 5 tons of ammo though, so ammo shortage has never been a problem for any of the games I played. Had to throw an XL engine to give it some speed, otherwise it was too easy to get picked off by right torso SUPER AMMO EXPLOSION!

I set right-click to chain-fire the guns eliminating risk of jamming, while left-click fires both for short bursts of increased damage. It's had some decent performance despite exploding ammo risks. Still, not one of my better builds... lol...
