Is there an extra confirmation step asking if you want to activate premium time after clicking the link?

I'm asking because it's a little close to the "View Forum Profile" link and I don't want to accidentally activate it.

To be clear, I am asking is there any way to stop the banked time from continuously running down for players with the above situation? Some, like me, have thousands of hours of premium time active, with very little time to play and actually make use of it, and it is essentially wasted

Excellent - though I would very much like to activate it on a weekly basis. I have semi-regular commitments that take me away from my computer, so the extra control would be an inducement to buy premium time.

Still, this is something I know a lot of us have wanted for a long time, so any ability to segment the time is much appreciated.

I'm glad this has been provided. I'm testing the "never ever turn it back off" thing now though. I've grown somewhat sick of the Clan meta and would rather just chill for a while until they work out the kinks. Meanwhile I have about 3 months just ticking down.

30 days is very reasonable. Don't let anyone tell you that it's not good enough, because people will talk you down to the very second for activation if you let them.

For more casual players like myself, its not good enough. I might play 10 days a month. 20 days wasted. Nope. That premium time sits banked until I am counted only for days I play and not for days I don't. If PGI is willing to allow a very active player the benefit of that month playing every day, I should get the same benefit for the days I log in. I don't expect 24 hours of time.

The day ticks when and if I log in, really should be if I log in and drop in a game, but I'd take until I log in.

There is almost no difference for activating it for a month and having it all at once. Its still way too long.

That's a bummer. Was hoping your team would be able to bank everyone's ticking premium time across the board so that everyone had a chance to take advantage of the new 30-day activation policy. Maybe in the future?

This basically amounts to a token offer. Despite how gratuitous you are making it seem to "gift" us with this option. If I PURCHASE something from a vendor, then it should be AT MY DISCRETION to utilize my purchase. If auto activation of premium time is what you want to do for awarded time, fine. However if I purchase an amount, then why should you dictate that it be used immediately...and also in such a LARGE block of time. Let your usage options mirror your purchase options, and if in the event that a person has an amount of premium time banked due to preorder...any additional time that is awarded or purchased needs to be lumped in with the banked amount and you guys just need to let it ride. Either that or create 2 pools of premium time, banked and active. If you can create an option to use the time in a 30 day chunk, you can code things so that there are 2 separate pools of time.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this already, but if I activated my banked premium time before you guys announced this great thing, and still have several months left, will the time that is already running be able to be paused so the rest of my premium time can be used on a monthly basis?
