i'm gonna guess this list is based off the current meta right? a mech can change its use by 1 balance pass. still waiting on judgement depending on how it turns out

Might be due to the Jenner having better torso pitch, and more critslots to play with due to no LAA and a slightly higher engine rating.

I consider them pretty even, but i can see the logic in that i guess.

All the mechs I like to run are Tier4 or 5... might explain some things...

I'm curious to see where the new Atlas will fall. Will it come in without quirks?

Here is the tier list as a .PNG, to avoid formatting issues:

I will state that as a (pre-Clan) Trebuchet pilot, my eyebrows sailed northwards when I saw that the Loup de Guerre was rated as being a tier above all the rest of the Trebuchets. I'm sitting here, all like "...okay. Which [redacted] ultracomp gave Piranha THAT advice from their iPhone at the bar one night?"

I mean heck, it doesn't really matter a ton either way I suppose, but it's just weird. Maybe the LDG got bumped up a tier for having a supah-classy paint job?

I do not see how the A1 cat is a tier 3... yes you can go splat cat but every hardpoint is arm mounted and max armor is 40 on a GIANT cat ear that gets bigger with more launchers.... (new cat quirk) remove the extra dvd players strapped to the missile boxes.

Looks like there will be a bunch of replaying old mechs once these quirks come in. Good times.

I used to run the ECM spider exclusively, and I really love the mech, but I feel it and the Raven-3L need to be bumped a tier so the 3L is T1 and the 5D is T2.

Please bump the HGN-733C down with the rest of the highlanders, it isn't that much better just for being able to slot an AC/20. Also, consider putting the 733P down on tier 4 - its only claim to fame was as a 4 PPC boat back when PPCs and jumpjets were still a thing.

Excellent job on the mediums.

Consider putting Orions on tier 5. They have hitbox problems on par with the Awesomes, and no one plays them. I will literally go an entire night without seeing one, 5 out of 7 days of the week.

Finally, why are tier 1 IS mechs not getting quirks? The point is to make them competitive with clans, but clan mechs are still a head above the first tier IS mechs.

I was going to post that having more crit slots to play with isn't a very big deal, but after playing around on Smurfy a little bit I found that on top of the 295 engine cap (which means only 1 extra internal heatsink possible instead of 2, which also means even less crit slots on the mech and is also less efficient) it actually does limit options a fair amount, whereas the JR7-F doesn't really have such an issue.

An interesting topic really; when discussing where Jenners go on the tier list though I guess I would just like to bring up how big their center torso is, which can be quite a hassle.

There might be a reason why these are lower tier. ;)

Can't wait until all the quirks are revealed though!

Also, are GRF-S and GRF-1E both referring to the Sparky? If so, the mech is listed twice lol.

Only reason the 733C is Tier 2 was cause of the JJ Sniping META when JJs actually worked really good on highlanders. As is 733C maybe should be Tier 3 and the rest should be moved to Tier 4 especially the 733P.

Cool I agree with most of that.

Should the BNC-3M be up to Tier 4 from Tier 3 though? No ballistic or missile, strictly energy boat... not quite as useful as the 3S and definitely not as powerful as the 3E....

Yes....yes it should be. Tier 4 must have all the good cooling quirks....

It's just a horribad energy boat, that requires hefty cooling quirks

Wow... I thought, I will never see here a Table... .. It's a very strange feeling... Can it be... that one day.... we will become new Mech datas, not in the old "1-meter-form"?..
