No way to reset it other than using the strip feature and alt-tabbing/second monitoring over to Smurfy's. They have a cool feature that allows you to see the stock builds. It's a good idea to log on about half an hour early before the stock league starts just to convert a few mechs back, or dedicate a second account to them. Biggest pain in the rear tho is you can't swap Dual Heat Sinks back and forth without paying bills which throws a wrench in any mech you decided needed some extra luv while grinding exp.

thx for the info!, I miss that magic stock tab in MW4 because you didn't really have to micro manage your c-bills for downgrades, if it was in your inventory you got the free labor heh!

don't go switching back n forth between endo ferro dhs and artemus for stock and custom builds with the same chassis, its expensive and unsustainable.
you will need to keep a stock version aside just for stock play.

Ferro and Endo are both legal for tech 1 just don't invest in DHS which I know can be a pain for exp grinding, but they allow up to full mastery so it's worth the grind to get those pilot perks.

Oh, you mean for stock matches. I thought you meant for normal solo queue.
Still, my advice is the same. Don't customize
I never see stock mechs in matches. I think many people just customize "because" without finding out how good stock mechs are first. I only play stock mechs (clan) or stock weapon configuration (IS, upgraded with Endo/DHS) and do fine.

In most tier 1 instances, it is simpler, and sometime cheaper, to simply buy a second chassis of the desired mech, and leave ti stock. Also far easier to grind since you can get your XP with a fully customized version, and not have to constantly rebuild stuff.

There really need to be two stock only queues, one for 3025 and one for 3050+.
I'd never leave stock only if they'd ever implement it.

It would be awesome.
Stock mech every day as an option. "Assault"/"Skirmish"/"Conquest" and... "Stock" (assault/skirmish/conquest... maybe at random)!!
This would be crazy awesome....

It would be a good, and I would think, reasonably easy thing to add - just a script which strips a loadout and then rebuilds it to a certain spec (similar to the "strip Mech" script), then sets an internal software flag to show "stock".
Any subsequent edit to the loadout would simply reset the stock flag to "not stock".
I'd also like to see "stock" added as a game mode, even if just in private lobbies. While there may not be enough players to make it viable at first, it would certainly aid us in setting up ''level playing field' tournaments.
