Hi PGI and Pilots. (sorry for language ( )
I am a fan of BattleTech universe, i read a lot of books, and play many games.
And i dont create this topics to teach you how to do this game =) NO, let me just take to you some ideas, ideas that i love to, and with this game must be better.
So in advance :
1 BALANCE
PGI a play for many of MMOs games, and see what sometimes BALANCE operationals can kill all interest to a game at all. Because dev tried to balaced all units in a game to give them all equall right to a victory, and no matter things such as class, tech level, etc. In other words, all units in game it is a one unit, because not matter what you choose , it balanced to others units and equal to they in all position.
As example we have:
1 unit with 150 damage and 100 HP,
and other with 150 HP and 100 damage,
you see ? they both have VERY diffends stats but in FACT this is just a same units,because they are balaced to ich others (This things are kill games, units lost their faces, and all players modification are strong balanced too (there is no chance to change situation) so all tweak just useless in real sit.
WHy i tell you all this? because i want to say - DONT AFRAID of STRONG units and WEAK units! Its MUST be A TOP mechs, it must be a some weak mechs.
That how real life works, of cource not too OP ot not too UP, but it must be a technical difference, some weapon must be a better at all,without balanced nerf, of cource have much more cost. This is add interest this is add priority, this is add more tactical differences to a battle.
2. Gameplay
Guys i dont know what is your ROADMAP priority, and on what you work right now BUT
Huge Request to add different vehicles in the level:
tanks
the planes
civilian objects (machine, trucks, logistic units)
and all this to levels
without it game isnt live! because MAIN IDEA its a BIG ROBOTS
but personaly I DONT FEEL A SIZE of my mechs, there is no object to compare
there is no people in hangar
there is no objects to smash or little one, like small houses, details e.t.c
this may be a little adition ,BUT in FACT its a very important estetic and atmotheric addon which add more BattleTech uiverse in game.
3. Mech's unique
Guys all mechs in game, have similar hud ( clan's i know) similar optics similar vision mode.
But then we find mech description in wiki or books what we a seen then?
All mechs have random:
-target system
-sensors
-armor
-reactor
So why not add some inique elements with ich models of mech and bonuses?
Example
AWESOME Desc:
targeting system: - Robinson Sys. 2.1 (+0.8 % to standart gathering speed info + 1 inch to zoom in 4x)
sensors: Unca Copr 1.22. ( -3% sensor range, + 10% to lock time then target is lost in direct vision)
armor: Divani Allian Copr. (+2% resist to ballistic weapons, -1% to lazers)
Bonuses: + 2 damage to all PPC type weapons, -1 point heat to PPC weapons
Cool ints it?

Cost should never be a factor in balance in game such as this. You are basically saying, hey this LoL champion costs 6300 IP, therefore it must be better than all the 4800 champs.

1. I think he has a very good point (btw OP your English was understandable the whole way =) ), if every mech was just as viable as the next there would be very little challenge. No high scores would occur (unless someone was really lucky) and no low ones would occur (unless really unlucky). With certain things being more powerful, the challenge becomes: beat the strong stuff with the weak stuff and laugh the whole way home. It makes a game more interesting. And yes, things can't be so OP/UP that such a challenge is impossible or TOO too difficult to complete.
2. Yes, that was exactly what I hoped this game would be, Battletech, not just mechs, but all aspects of the BT universe. You find some outright bad mechs in MWO simply because their roles was specific to other aspects of the universe (ie. personel, light/heavy vehicles, aircraft, fortifications, scout only <-charger).
3. Such a tweak system, one which connects to the lore to add quirks and such would be amazing to have, but PGI I definitely not into Battletech, their only into making the "Big Stompy Robot" game. (THEY HAVE PILOTS!!! Robots pilot themselves #TheBroken). They would never bother to add something that would take research and time when non-BT/MW fans wouldn't understand. EVEN if it would add some awesome personalization to our mechs and playstyles.
Edit: PS. Cost could only be a nerf with repair bills, which I always thought were a great idea if done correctly. This would actually discourage use of powerful weapons (which are always more expensive)

IS mechs are getting quirks this month to balance them against each other and the Clans. That probably falls under the "tweak" system, no? Or close enough.
Cost-based balancing is a horrible idea because costs have always been pretty much arbitrary in BT to start with, and they only hurt new and non-paying players. Premium and long-standing players don't care, they're swimming in c-bills.
Now, as for civilian objects, you must've missed the cars, trucks and other such objects that can be found in several maps, OP. Drop in River City, for example, and pay attention.
