I didn't have the money for it at the time, but if I had I woulda bought it in a heartbeat.

It was a really long time ago... But I will try. Who knows, maybe I will actually get a champion for once with the MC they refund me... Assuming that they actually do.

It's a champion style: standard hard points of a JR7-D with a 10% XP boost, though a unique skin like a hero. Kindof its own thing.

Correct. If it was account wide, there wouldn't be much complaint about price (and single use would seem very expensive)

This just cheapens the Hero Mechs.

It especially cheapens the Founders Mechs, which still have the same bonuses, but have locked paint schemes and only marginal aesthetic changes for the Hunchback and Jenner.

When we were told that the founders were going to have advantages that we'd never see again, I was expecting that to mean that no other mechs would be getting C-bill or EXP bonuses quite as high as them, not that we'd be questioning whether it was worth it as every other mech purchased with MC is now on par or better than.

No, I'm not talking about "Pay to win", I'm talking about "Pay to grind less". I think that if the Champ mechs are getting bumped up for XP earnings, the Founders and Hero mechs should get a proportionately large bump in C-bill and XP earning mods.

Say whaaa? XP (and technically GXP) isn't gained that much faster... really. C-bills is what most people need, unless they've already committed to mechs that give them C-bill bonuses and premium time and have some war chest. I don't think that's an issue. GXP/XP isn't a problem, unless you have just recently started playing this game... and conversion is an option (not that I'd want it, since I have too much GXP after grinding many different mechs).
