well well. 6 uac5 direwolves is like an everyday sight now. The 100 tons IS atlas is getting outgunned!

BUT.......
Before having PAUL loading the NERF GUN, INTRODUCING.....Annihilator!

let the clans taste the despair of 4 BALLISTIC ASSAULT MEK! GIVE THEM THE TASTE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE!

but some are saying: what about the KING CRAB?

all i got to say is......

MOAR DAKKA is the SOLUTION for BALANCE( againest clans)!



with IS standard engine, its armor and potspace, IT can tank direwhale face to face and BE the WHALEKILLA!

plus it got a headlazor rite?

well DIREWHALES with 6 BALLASTIC slots are roaming and life goes on.....

so why would 4 ballastic anhillator be more op then 6 ballastic whales?

BUT IT WOULD kill EVERYTHING in its sight!

stock anhillator is 32 kph, IT will be more sluggish then DIREWHALE!

Where as lights and medium could flank it and aim at those jucy legs and rear ST for dem tasty AMMO EXPLOSION....... MOAR REASONS to BRING MGs!

so please RUSS, As a player who is gonna get the limited edition KING CRAB and got the mad dok invasion version....

The Annihilator is a Clan battlemech (read: not omnimech) from the Star League days. It is not, and never was, an inner sphere mech.

My Kintaro has killed many a Direwhales, some face to face this weekend..... they always curse for some reason when their precious Direwhale dies to a lowely medium. BTW its my Golden Boy, and he was golden this weekend (what little I got to play)

The Annihilator went into production in 3048 at the Arc Royal production facilities, These facilities were used to both support the Dragoons and export around the inner sphere as part of the "get the inner sphere prepared for the clan invasion" remit of the Wolfs Dragoons.

So yeah it wasn't... but now it is and just within our timeline no less

I have just been told that the design was dragoon exclusive until the jihad as the dragoons mostly just exported components...

So do we count the Dragoons as IS???

I think there's something to this. I've been messing up Dire Wolfs in my medium mechs lately, especially mediums that run lots of SRMs or an AC20(IS)

I demand an investigation! Everyone to their medium mechs!

Not 100% true.

The genesis is Clans, but the ones used by the Dragoons are 100% IS tech, so to cll them "Clan" is a bit of a misnomer.

The fact there was only ever like 2 dozen, tops, int he Inner Sphere, and ONLY the Dragoons had em? Well that would be the bigger reason to say they are not available.

It was exclusive to the Dragoons until the Jihad disseminated the design to Arc-Royal due to the strengthening of the relationship that Wolf's Dragoons forged with the Kell Hounds and Clan Wolf-in-Exile following their flight from Outreach.

So, a little bit later than 3048. (Jihad began in 3067)

That said, the 1A, 2A, 1X, 1G and 1E were all built pre 3050, with Inner Sphere only tech. Always felt like they mighta stole the 1E from me (my old Convention and Tournament version of the Annihilator was 4 PPC, 6 Mediums, and 35 SHS, as I used the other 6 tons to boost the armor) lol, but anyhow, I would like to see it in eventually, even if it was perhaps an unlockable chassis, or something, like Russ had talked about at the Launch Event.

Its tech base is Inner Sphere because the Wolf's Dragoons brought them back into the IS before the clan invasion. Its ok to only be half right.

This, IS dakka is ******** OP.

There has actually been an ongoing conversation on twitter about buffing clan dakka. One ballistic is not viable alone, you have to boat them. Which should not be the case.

The Clans may have the dakka, but with both the King AND the Annihilator the IS would have a controlling interest in SEXY DAKKA.

The Annihilator is sexy, I would def get it.

but......the whole balance thing is crap, im sorry but it just is, its not the mech, its the pilot,
Russ just gives us the car, he cant teach us how to drive it too. You cant just close your eyes and
pull the trigger people.

Any mech, light to assault will hurt you if you disrespect its presence and its pilot.
