Only group inv must start the flashing. All the friend/unit players changes must be with SINGLE flasing (better with other colour) or NO flashing.

Yeah, I hate seeing it flash all the time. I could care less about unit members joining/leaving.

it would be fine with me if it were just invites or new chat messages; it alerts you every time somebody logs in or out though (probably because these create outfit chat events), and that makes it pretty useless.

+1 Invites only. You ignore it now and miss the invites

Our mileage obviously varies Nic, it isn't even a concern to me and I have a pretty full Friends list.

actually it flashes even when no one of your unit is online but when the MotD is set. Don't like the flashing either.

In on it. While it doesn't bother me too much its a bit distracting.

I nuked my entire friends list because of that button. Quite annoying.

make it flash only when you get a message, an invite or a request.
theres no reason to make it flash for every action in your friends list. that just makes people apathetic to the flashing, meaning that sometimes players will not notice that they have been invited to a match or getting a message.
its small stuff like this that get me mad. so small and yet so stupid. how hard could it be to fix that????
