OK first off I love the LOKI!!! LOKI AND KOSH, LOKI AND KOSHI, LOKI AND KOSHI!!! OK enough of that ...
Question is the Anti-Personal Poppers as I call them or Anti-Personnel Pods ... so with that how will they be accounted for in the game? There are 4 of them on the mech, that accounts for weight and slots. With it filling usable space in the mech that could help it fight better with anti-mech weapons, UNLESS PGI decided to some how make it more useful, and so there is my question ... Is there anything that the APPs can do against mech and is there anything PGI is doing to account for other tech on other mechs that can be useful in the game?

They're being removed and replaced with something else, either armor or unfixed heat sinks. I believe Russ said they were leaning towards just upping the armor on the Prime.

A pods do 0 damage versus mechs, so they're being removed from the loadout.

The starts are already released and you'll notice that the Prime variant of the Hellbringer (Loki) which is meant to have APPs has more armor than the other variants, so they're just upping the armor.

They replaced them with 2 tons of armour.
Prime has 320 armour compared to the 256 of the others.
320-256= 64 points, or 2 tons of armour.

They did the smart thing, removing them and upping the armor.

Removed and replaced with armor. Loki Prime starts off with 2 additional tons of armor if you look at the Clan Wave 2 pack.
