Think the song named Grinder from Judas Priest would be good combat rock.

I was thinking something from the Heavy metal soundtracks. This is Heavy Metal after all.

Team Banzai has a remix of "Jump in the Fire" which I think fits.

Crystal Method, Daft Punk, Plump DJ's, Deadmau5, all work for me.

But I will be listening to the Mechwarrior2 soundtracks, along with some Unreal Tournament tracks more than likely.

I gotta disagree some people play shooters and sims better with music in the background. I know for a fact when I am playing a flight sim, I fly better in dog fights with music than with out. keeps me calm and centered and focused. Most voice com programs can be set up to attenuate background sounds when someone speaks on coms so no order is missed.

Throughout history musicians and music have been part of battles . Gulf War, Vietnam, WWII, WWI, Civil war, Revolutionary war and before that music was a major part of warfare be it actual musicians or radios. Music boosts confidence, morale, can keep you focused and calm or angry depending on the situation needed. State of mind is powerful force don't discount it.

You can diagree as you wish, have seen in games where someone doesnt hear "OH SH** GOT "whatever" ON MY FLANK" and the
pilot gets chewed up because someone was jammin out . We, the pilots I have winged with dont use it and did just fine for the very fact that there should be no distractions.

This sounds like the opinion of someone who has never been in actual combat, just read about it.Ask any infantyman if he walks around in

combat with jams happening. Its a distraction at best. Many a time Ive heard "SHUT THAT FU***** MUSIC OFF" because some slick sleeve

doesnt know better. Now riding walking or flying to and back from combat sure but once youre in it and have commo goin no dice.

The battles that Did have it were ancient ie: bagpipes , drum corps and the like but alas no active radio commo.
