Doesn't matter what they use or don't, it lets them see ideas they could possibly use or understand what the community would like from the game. As I others have said, some above me, the game will evolve with time. What it begins as may be different then it's ending, and the F2P model may really help PGI craft a wonderfully amazing game as they have time and feedback.

One other thing everyone is also forgetting. BETA :rolleyes: It will be a community BETA which will surely take 3-6months.

If the Devs do what I think they will do, Beta will begin, and it will be them asking hows this working for you. MWO community answers, we think it would work better if you tweaked this or that. This process will probably apply to many facets of the development.

I think the DEVS, will develop MWO through the community they expect to play MWO. =) Its just a gut feeling. I could be wrong, but ... <_< it could happen.

It's a good note about the beta, especially with a community of this size and intensity. Piranha has really shown a common love for the franchise that could rival some posters, and they're active with us which is a great sign of them willing to listen and help mold MWO into a fantastic game.

Even if they misstep, it'll be easy to fix.

About this thread and it's purpose. While we're discussing what people feel about the split server idea, the true goal is to show that we can have this kind of discussion without berating or trying to ridicule others posts. This post, and those like it (I'm looking at you, locked Mechassault threads!) are still valuable to the devs, even if the response is generally negative to the idea proposed. That doesn't mean we have to be demeaning.

It helps show what we do and do not want, and helps engender discussion about various points of the topics some players or even the developer's may not consider.

So, much like this thread, if you see a topic you do or do not like...comment. But, if you do deign to give your opinion, remember that it's all we have and to respect those of others, regardless of how bad you personally find it.
