There are some maps i don't like too much. Alpine being one of them. But i'd rather play those for variety's sake, than remove them from the game entirely.

Please stop. Depending on whom you ask, you will find that every map is hated by some group of players. I would much rather be rid of River ****** than Alpine, for example.
But it will never happen. The best you can expect, is some improvement upon what is in (for example trees on Alpine, more space around the small maps). Every map is a large game asset, representing a big investment for PGI. That is not something you just throw away.

the whole J/K/L line is a fantastic piece of map along with the vertical 11/12.
lots of cover, lots of places for lances to maneuver around and fight but no......TO THE HILL!!!
base locations should be moved as well as the team with the base by the hill has decent advantage i think.
River city night is a good map but it should only be used for skirmish and maybe conquest, but not assault.
and I don't know why everyone harps on Terra Therma, again, another great map with LOTS of places to go and use to fight, plenty of space to flank and what not just everyone likes the top and too many people can't manage their heat.

Alpine is fine, and I'm primarily a Brawler and play IS mechs exclusively.
If anything, consider maybe putting some tunnels in.

REMOVE something IS NOT a SOLUTION. A lot of people love River city night and pray for more night maps where use night/heat vision, why remove it?
Clever idea is a chance to choice what map include/exclude in search queue. If you hate a particular map you exclude it. Stop.

Well yeah. Nobody is going to vote to remove a map, even a bad map, from the rotation while we don't have anything to replace it with. We've got few enough playgrounds as it is.

There is always the radar derp module that any mech can equip.... you know the ninja one that breaks target lock if you so much as bend over when they try to shaft you with an LRM.
