Centurion "new" Geometry Revealed?

taken from the recent tweet about the new billing systems.
Is this the New Centy Geometry? An Atlas with custom geometry, or the new AS7-S?
And Decals, or the new Custom skin for those 2 mechs? (Though that is NOT a CN9-AH since it has torso lasers)
Conspiracy Theories BEGIN!!!!

Niko did confirm that is the AS7-S. Not sure how I feel about the Judeo-Christian art motif, I guess it's to try to balance all the "Satanz" emchs from before? (Firebrand, Hellslinger, Flame (not really, but some take it as such, lol), etc)

Paint doesn't bother me, I just really dig the geometry.
Reminds me of Sir Dan

Maan, it's a cool thematic Paintjob. I'm not even Christian but I can appreciate the general aesthetic look. (Churches used to look so awesome)

Angels, especially militant ones (you know, accurate ones, not those stupid renaissance "cherubs" and effeminate lady angels), are always awesome.
Looks like Centurions are losing their missile bay doors. I cannot say I miss them.

I'd be extremely surprised if it isn't the special skin. Because it all but screams "Hero", "Special", etc.
And it's pretty awesome.
On another note... If that's the AH, it is modified from the original. I do not recall the original having energy weapons. On the other hand I definitely ain't going to complain about it since it gives the AH options to fall back on that don't rely on ammunition.
And I definitely will not miss the bay doors. I bought a Cent in preparation for the AH's coming and I was reminded as to why people bitched about those bay doors back when there was no toggle to open them.
Overall, the skin seems to be just what the doctor ordered, and I can't help but want a top hat to go with that monocle on the Atlas. <3

The Atlas though... is a boss.
It may overtake the Atlas-RS (although, the RS IMO is the 3rd best Atlas). It might be a gem to brawl with (though, it wouldn't overtake the D-DC because of ECM).

I don't have a problem with it. Christianity and Judaism are still alive and well in the year 3050, across the Inner Sphere. I guess it's not a popular religion in all areas of the galaxy (Capellan Confederation?), but it's certainly not hard to explain it. Indeed, the presence of actual real world religions in Battletech is one of its redeeming features, IMO. I like that they're not all worshipping Zordaxx, the Space God, or some other invented deity.
I personally would love to see more religious motifs on mechs, because it fits the background. Bring on the islamic, hindu, buddhist and... well, maybe not Modern Norse, as it makes no sense at all. I'm sure PGI would be terrified of having islamic motifs on a battlemech. Certainly a huge depiction of Muhammed with a baseball bat and a shotgun would be something to avoid.

I wouldn't worry. The trinity symbol is of pagan origin, and angels aren't an invention of christians (or jews) either.

PS: Imho that is a CN9-A showing the Paintjob, the Shield is also different, the Headprotection maybe too.

Bishop, you do realize that Angels aren't just Judeo-Christian, right? Many other religions have angelic figures too.
Other than that grip with Bishops religious knowledge, I think both mechs look supremely badass. I actually just bought a DDC so I could get my S up to at least Elite. Also, my DDC is now a Pumpkin and will only be played during the month of October

Russ has confirmed that the Atlas is the reward AS7-S. so it would be safe to assume that the Cent is the AH.
