why the Nova-A Left Torso?
simple 1E hard-point 1AMS hard-point,

i feel that this side torso would combine well with the other A side torso,
allowing for Nova's to take on more Anti-missile support type builds/roles,

i feel this additional LT Omni-Pod, would help with its AMS builds,
as we would be able to have a pod with an energy for both sides as well,

also 6ER ML & 3AMS would be awesome(yes that's my Bias, sorry),
S-LA&RA&CT, A-LT&RT,

there are other builds as well that could be built,
2Torso LPL, 4Arm ER-ML build(S-Arms, B-RT, A-LT)
2Torso ER-PPC, 6Arm ER-SL, 1C-AP, build(S-Arms, B-RT, A-LT)
8ER ML no Prime cool-down penalty build(S-Arms, B-RT, A-LT)
and(sigh i know someones ganna ask)
14ER ML Nuke Alpha Build(ya if you want to die)

Thoughts Comment Concerns?
Thanks,

Edit- Spelling,

Rate see the Nova-C LT with the Missile Hard Point to be honest Better yet, I would like to see it with 2 Missile hard points mostly because it would give the Nova some much needed versatility in its weapons loadout and make it so it didn't have to totally rely on overly hot energy weapons.

I just don't understand why the D wasn't included, or at least the missile arm.

We need missile hardpoints on the Nova before anything else. Not having at least two missile slots on a mech makes it pretty crappy. Since the Nova is really going to be played even less when the Fenris comes out, the addition of missile slots will keep it around.

It has already been mega nerfed with the Med and Sm laser ghost heat combination, so the least PGI could do is give us some frickin missiles. Either that, or give the Nova a quirk that lets it fire more than 6 at a time.

They will introduce additional variants later on most likely, similar to IS mechs, which haven't initially featured all the available variants compatible with the timeline. It's just not the major priority, given their preoccupation with creating assets for the upcoming CW expansion and finalizing/polishing the Second Wave clan mech collection.

Exactly. All energy build is bad. Like the Bad Knight.

Then don't release the 'mech, just the pods.

The Nova's lack of FF and Endo means that it has a lot of free space for DHS and not a lot of free weight for heavy weapons like ballistics and LRMs. You can give it all the hardpoints in the world, but it's still not got a lot of weight to play with.

i agree, i think they very well could give us the U head,
but unfortunately many people have voiced that they would rather not have it that way,

well assuming that you have a Nova(16 FreeTons) + NVA-A LT(1E, 1AMS)
6ERML(3per arm)(6Tons) + 1LPL(6Tons) + 3AMS(1.5Tons) + 2.5AMS-Ammo(5000 rounds)(2.5Tons) = 16Tons,
this would give the Nova a great Anti-Missile Build that can still dish out a good deal of damage,
55damage Alpha, or 34Damage per arm(assuming your LPL is set to both sides),

well assuming that you have a Nova(16 FreeTons) + NVA-C LT(1M)
6ERML(3per arm)(6Tons) + 1LRM20(5Tons) + 5LRM-Ammo(900 rounds)(5Tons) = 16Tons,
this would give the Nova a great Missile Build that can dish out a good deal of damage at close and long ranges,
62damage Alpha, or 42Damage for arms, and 20Damage for the LRM20 barrage,

Please Note both above builds are based off the Nova-S Chassis,

Doesn't have the tonnage to use MPLs to their ghost heat threshold, though.

Unless you mix ERSLs and MPLs.

I think they should put every omnipod from every mech that is available at this point in the timeline in the game.

Agreed, also i can see even 3054 Omni-pods, as we have crossed the line several times already with fluff,

i think as long as an Omni-pod uses Equipment that is available,
it shouldn't have a lore problem with implementation, as the parts are available,

Smalls and Medium lasers need to be unlinked for Ghost heat for starters.

Combinations of smalls and mediums is far from being a problem in any of the Clan mechs, even the Nova.

I would actually prefer to see loads setup like that instead of the 2-ERLL/LPL +4/6 Medlas 61-68 dmg vomit that is the bigger issue.

A missle pod for the Nova would be nice, but unless it has 2 hardpoints for doing SRM12, its really not going to be of much benefit IMO.

Heat quirks is still what the nova needs to make it viable in any setup.
The Default Prime, and Default S (pulse) configs are unplayable since the Heatup patch.

Back me up on this Mcgral, you know as well as I do how hard the Nova is, as you won the #1 spot in the individuals tourny in this very mech.

Heat is the biggest thing limiting it weapon wise. 12 extra heat to many loadouts. That's bigger than it sounds.

It at least has the advantage of MGs. Biggest overall issue...is the fact it's big. Too wide, giant arms, giant legs.

Heat quirks is something that PGI would be willing to change, and help it a fair bit, since scaling is off the table.
