The Cataphract is just simply better for hillhumping and poptarting.

Speaking of which, it makes me want to take the Summoner (high ballistic slots).

Been pondering what to do with mine and mulling over that same thing. Cataphracts really spoiled me.

There's only 1 "good build" (well, a good non-missile build) for the Summoner. Too bad it's still outclassed by the Timberwolf... although high firing Gauss is really sweet.

Done that with one of my SHDs. It was fun, just not optimal. Might try it.

personally i would love to see more Omni-Pods,
Pgi isnt really sticking to the time line, Russ has said,

MWO as well as CW in particular is alternate timeline,
as the players can write the future of the BT universe,
as such they can also rewrite when Tech is available,

You'll probably get your wish on the this particular omnipod (it is in the data, for a possible tri-AMS setup for the Nova-S).

When it'll happen is a whole different matter.

i think the NOVA, A-LT(1AMS 1E), C-LT(1M) maybe even a RT with 1M would help the Nova allot,

more ams? what for? lrms are hardlky an issue and dedicating that many tonnage in ams + ammo does not help the nova in my opinion. I have not a single ams on it and lrms are the least of all problems.

however the 2nd hardpoitn in the torso would at lats allow some dual PLP or dual GAuss build havign not the crappy low arm hardpoints. Bt yet they oul still be quite low compared to other mechs. and somehow you would just be in a fat adder. or fat SCR. Still it would improve the Nova we currently have.

Even though the NVA-A is out now, it seems you cannot use the NVA-A left shoulder on the NVA-S... its not available to buy or use. Bug or feature?

The pods will be avaiable when the mechs go for sale on MC and CBills. Thats what I heard... and yes, 3 ams nova would be cute, but useless...

Um, just remove the omnipod from the Nova-A... and then equip it on the Nova-S.

You can actually rebuy the missing Nova-A omnipod (from the Nova-A's omnipod screen) to equip it back on itself.

Same goes for any other variant.

if they would had made a bundle and every chassis for 10$, then maybe, but wow 3,890 MC for basically just to unlock the E and AMS in the Novas left Torso? 8yes I know it also includes the mech and the mechbay, but seriously, I have 4 Novas, a fifth is hardly needed and especially not for nearly 20$.

it's only suited for people who don't have any and want to buy a specific one.

i feel i know why they gave us the KFX-C and NVA-A,
it takes away the president for Omni-Pods with out the Chassis,
if im right, then we will only be seeing New Variants, not Individual Omni-pods,
so in the future i see lots of very similar parts,

I just don't understand why the D wasn't included, or at least the missile arm.

yes the A pod feels like an slap in the face for anyone that like or uses an NOVA. guess PGI just wants to keep it as an cannon fodder mech for the clans i guess

like i said i feel the A was released because the A-RT already existed,
now their is no example of an Omni-Pod existing with out the whole variant,

I bought it, so I was speaking about doing it when I already own it. But Deathlike' comment helped, thanks!
